Bernardo would be a huge loss but in some ways it would be better to have his situation resolved finally even if it means he’s off. It’s hard to see where he would go though. Even harder to see who replaces him…

When my GLW picked me up from the airport after CL Final I was tired, emotionally drained and in desperate need of a brew. Like most I suppose.
I turned to her and said that it will probably never ever get better than this and sadly the team would eventually break up.
If whoever wants to go does then so be it. Let them go with our blessing and eternal thanks for the greatest season ever.

Asking to leave is one thing. The buying clubs meeting our valuation is another.

I would normally agree, but with dwindling contracts and money for older players, coupled with a lack of desire to stay, we might have to bite the bullet.

Cancelo and Laporte will be loaned out IMO, Walker to Bayern and Mahrez to Saudi.

I just don't see Bernardo getting his move, unless he's so desperate that he's willing to go to Saudi. PSG can't afford him unless they sell Mbappe (which isn't happening) and Barca can't afford anyone.

I suspect of all those names, Bernie is the one least likely to drop off if he doesn't get his way - he's too much of a competitor to give less than 100%. He's also the hardest to replace. So I don't see us doing anyone a favour to take him off our hands.

also who the fuck is actually buying Laporte, cancelo and Bernardo for what they are worth- it’s all well and good their agents and them saying we want to leave- bring an offer then ffs. Mahrez and walker fair play they’ve brought reasonable offers and you can understand the moves at their ages and the opportunities they have. The others are just going to be a headache for the club if they kick up a fuss- leave them behind by all means but unless someone buys them we’ll be stuck with them start of next season
