So why the surprise from Pep.
Maybe the surprise is Bernardo had brought a reasonable offer to the table

Dias. And this is where it gets fucked up. Majority leaving are getting on the old side. Core and spine of the team is still intact. Halaand, KDB, Rodri, Ederson, Stones, Foden, Alvarez, Grealish.
At this stage what i don't understand is surely given that Rice, a mediocre midfielder has gone for 120 million, we are surely not allowing Bernardo going for fucking peas?
Will need midfielders x2, 1 winger, if Gvardiol gets in.
The lost experience is invaluable. That will have to be built again.
Curious what we do going forward.
Maybe it’s a Saudi offer and the surprise is he’d leave to go there.Maybe the surprise is Bernardo had brought a reasonable offer to the table
I wil lbe honest only walker and berny I am arsed aboutCancelo - No future at the club, and the worse case scenario he will be loaned out. No chance he stays.
Laporte - Been unhappy for a long time with the lack of game time. He won’t be here come the end of the summer.
Marhez - Not surprised been told for weeks he was wanting out. And would be the next first team player to leave.
Walker - Aware he was unhappy but I got the impression the club still believed they could convince him to stay.
Bernardo - Nothings changed, wants to leave but the clubs stance remains the same. If a team pays the asking price he can leave.
My concern here is, none of them are a surprise. So with Tolmies latest information it makes me wonder is there more.
Didn’t he just extend his contract recently? It would cost loads to buy him .couldn’t be Alvarez could it , that would be a shock
Yeah I’d say so , we surely have prepared for Bernardo leaving , it’s a game he’s played now for close on 2 seasons, I’m surprised at Walker tbh , Munich of all places , feels like some of our players just feel like there work is done now winning the treble. The club have known about Bernardo like I say for a long while, so what are the real surprises to Pep ? Mahrez ? Who had a face like a slapped arse in Istanbul and on the bus parade ? Laporte ? I doubt it. Seems a bit odd that Pep is “surprised” tbh.Could of been informed earlier,
No that’s what he meant by half of the team 5 of them in total.Cancelo - No future at the club, and the worse case scenario he will be loaned out. No chance he stays.

Must admit I find that a tad concerning…normally get the players walking in, handshakes, almost irrelevant but not seeing it is clearly deliberate by the club…Must be linked to the complete lack of coverage of them coming back to CFA. Have enough even come back to fill a starting 11…
Probably the biggest irritation for Pep will be Mahrez. He loves that guy.
With majority of them at Bernie's wedding, seems like something fishy was going on therePep is disappointed, but suspect he doesn't want any passengers.
Agents know we can't afford to hang around.
My best guess is Walker, Cancelo, Bernie, Mahrez and Laporte will all be gone.
Could be an exciting few weeks of the window but worried about the impact it has on performances early on?
Out of that list, I only care about Bernie.
Could of been informed earlier,
The bad news we only have 3 players :)Some good news , Kevs been training with Ake and Akanji so maybe that hamstring injury isn’t as bad as we thought.
Perhaps he thinks the players banking on his door the first day back from holiday telling him they want to leave could have made this clear to him and the club a lot sooner so they could have been sold already. Instead of waiting to tell him until today when its less than 3 weeks until the season starts and half the transfer window has already passed. This since I doubt he takes much notice of what twitter "journalists" report unless the player has told him something themselves. Them being on holiday is no reason to not tell him of your intentions, phones exist. Unless you are a spoiled brat with no respect for your employer, co-workers or contract at all.So why the surprise from Pep.
I asked that question in another thread. Whats the story with that ? No pictures or the annual video of returning to training in their designer clothes with their man bag in hand.... this is strangeMust admit I find that a tad concerning…normally get the players walking in, handshakes, almost irrelevant but not seeing it is clearly deliberate by the club…
Wether we feel he was is utterly irrelevant. He felt he wasn’t so moved on. It’s life. Not sure why people take issue with it and feels like it’s some sort of insult to the club. Very odd. There is still mutual respect between Pep and Cancelo.Difference is he was given fair opportunities and he fucked it. He was a liability defensively and he kicked up a fuss like a 10 year old because he was benched by Lewis, rather than taking a look at what he needs to improve like Phil and Walker have had to.
I thought they were all supposed to be back at CFA yesterday and today and they fly out tomorrow. Looks like Laporte has been in Spain and those three in Ibiza- seems strange? Some good news , Kevs been training with Ake and Akanji so maybe that hamstring injury isn’t as bad as we thought.
