Re stand by your beds, need to keep an eye on flight out tomorrow.

Doesn't sound like Pep is too impressed.

Been hit be a deluge of agents today and could even see a couple left behind.

City ready to move on fast now.

Bernardo should be told bring the money or sh it up moaning
Cancelo should be told fuck if to Saudi or stay at home for a year
Walker not arsed - stay or go pick one
Laporte- loan deal?
Mahrez - £30m or get your training kit on

starting to think this season we should just give palmer some starts and integrate mcatee

We have let this situation develop by saying anyone can leave
The treble seems to have pushed it forward
Also we had a clear 11/12 starters towards back half of season and some have spat dummies
Bernardo and gundo are a bit disappointing

The lack of signings and links to top players worries me

What’s the reason, do you know, for so many previously content players allegedly looking to move on? Assume it’s nothing to do with the charges?
I highly doubt that myself. It's just time catching up to some players maybe as they've now done it all and it must be exhausting playing for Pep. They might be looking at the upcoming season with all of the extra games and travel and thinking now's the time to jump ship.

I know its not happening but Kimmich and De Jong would go a long way to setting this window alight.

Absolutely Dave! I think so many big name and prominent players leaving needs to the club to show its financial muscle and replace them with world class players! The likes of Gvardiol, FDJ, Kimmich and that level across every position need targeting and give Pep what he wants after what he done last season?

Not sure why people are panicky

3 of the names laporte, berny, cancelo were always possibly going, and been like this for 2 years
Wlaker was unexpected and still not certain he will go.
Mahrez is a new one, but the saudi league are pushing many players to go

Honestly only walker and berny going would bother me.

For 3-5 to go all at once would be a kick in the balls for Pep the day before our Asian tour, but the man is an adaptable genius and sure he will have a plan formulating

As for gundo, sad but inevitable, think Barca his been a dream of his and he has fulfilled his ambitions here and captained a treble wining side

I do wonder though if Pep gets pissed off at times having to find solutions for a club that has the resources we do? I`m sure his new contract and meeting with the owner and Khaldoon would have come with certain promises of the desire to back him to go again, refresh and the targets he wanted which according to our best City journos was Bellingham, Gvardiol and Kovacic and anything else was fluid? Bellingham chose elsewhere which is what it is but i`m not sure Pep will be happy on the club not getting Rice and especially losing out to Arsenal as he wont give a shit how much players cost in reality, just who he wants and the plan he had. We are still sorting Gvardiol with no guarantee he comes in still and now has on his first day back seemingly been told by others they want out?

so they’re leaving for Japan. But still no media. I guess we’re just going to have to find it out in the first game

It’s not looking great right now but the worst thing we can do is sign unsuitable players at silly prices.

I wouldn’t have been concerned at all but if Pep isn’t happy then that’s a bit of a red flag.

I honestly believe that the Saudi situation has wrecked a few plans. Just have to wait and see, as difficult as that is.

We didn’t get Bellingham or Rice so it’s reasonable to say we are behind where we expected to be.

Yeah the Pep situation isnt a great way to start pre season, hopefully txiki and khaldoon get cracking with making him happy asap.

Trying to save that extra £15m and letting Arse get Rice is looking a worse decision every day.

For a club of our resources we don’t half penny pinch at times, it’s seriously frustrating. As Treble winners and with Pep here, this could have been our opportunity to really fuck up our rivals.

Pep was seemingly promised certain things and we`ve missed out on two and one of them was to his bloody apprentice! lol

Yep when we going to have a turnover of 700m and clubs who are in billions of debt spending 100 of millions! But there is 4/5 weeks of the window left

It’s like we have a transfer ban at the moment but that can change quickly.

If the worst comes to the worst then it’s a chance for the likes of Palmer and MacAtee.
