Trying to save that extra £15m and letting Arse get Rice is looking a worse decision every day.

For a club of our resources we don’t half penny pinch at times, it’s seriously frustrating. As Treble winners and with Pep here, this could have been our opportunity to really fuck up our rivals.
Were NetSpend champions retaining that is vital

Born and raised in London chances are he is happy there

Not sure why people are panicky

3 of the names laporte, berny, cancelo were always possibly going, and been like this for 2 years
Wlaker was unexpected and still not certain he will go.
Mahrez is a new one, but the saudi league are pushing many players to go

Honestly only walker and berny going would bother me.

For 3-5 to go all at once would be a kick in the balls for Pep the day before our Asian tour, but the man is an adaptable genius and sure he will have a plan formulating

As for gundo, sad but inevitable, think Barca his been a dream of his and he has fulfilled his ambitions here and captained a treble wining side
you'll get absolutely nowhere on here with sound reasoning and common sense

Regarding Rice that only looks "a worse decision every day" for certain posters.

Penny pinching? Haven't we spent £1.5 Billion in the last 10 years is the MSM is correct? Strange take on penny pinching.

£15m isn’t a penny pinch though is it. It buys you an Akanji for example! Successful business’ don't stay at the top by wasting money for the sake of it or because they can.
This argument is exactly why the right people are running our club, look at Barça, they have had your attitude for years and now find they can’t buy who they’d like as they can’t register them. They are also now facing questions from UEFA, something we’d like to avoid.
£1-2m I get, £5m I’d see an argument for, but again that’s not how good business’ run and regardless of how we as fans feel, Manchester City Football Club is a business foremost.

Re stand by your beds, need to keep an eye on flight out tomorrow.

Doesn't sound like Pep is too impressed.

Been hit be a deluge of agents today and could even see a couple left behind.

City ready to move on fast now.

To be fair to the players, it's been a busy few years under a manager who is relentless. They've picked up from the covid season and gone and won three league titles in a row alongside the treble last season. They've won it all. Walker and Mahrez have 5 league titles. Their job is done in England. The chance to play in a different league or get that contract they want is something they'd rightly consider at this time, as is the chance to earn life changing money in Saudi.

Losing Walker would be disappointing, but Bernardo is the one we hopefully can keep. Laporte, Cancelo, Walker and Mahrez leaving sounds like significant losses but our squad coped without them for some or all of last season ultimately, and I'm sure the club have a wide list of players in all positions to move quickly if we need to.

Any doubt in the minds now will only lead to issues further in the season. Cancelo became a disaster behind the scenes, others could follow suit.

Pep will want the 4th league title in a row. It had never been done in Germany when he was at Bayern. It was plastered over the walls of the club to make sure the players knew the aim. He'll want full motivation and although he'll be disappointed players he thought were committed have now changed their minds, he's sensible enough to know it could whet the appetite of others who can then kick us on.

Chaos gonna break out when that flight list is published/reported
It will but to be fair we’ll see players come back home and leave the camp, and others fly out to join them. It’s not a new thing and happens every season.
Now if KDB or Haaland are not on the flight then meltdown will ensue.
