got a feeling kev's injury is overblown and he'll be back sooner than people think
Exact opposite. He works like a dog. Remember he was maybe the most important player in Bielsa Leeds team, and he suffers no passengers.Don’t see Raphina as a Pep player out of possession.
That's a bit forward. I didn't say what I think, but saying that if I don't agree with your opinion then I basically don't understand football is kind of silly don't you think? I won't get into all that except to say I know lots and lots and lots about football.
That said, if people like Luis Enrique rate him as good enough to play regularly for Spain how can you state with such conviction that he's average?
I'll respect your opinion, but it's just that. Saying categorically doesn't add any weight to it. Just sayin'...
Which boxes does he tick? Ive not seen much of him but when I have I haven’t been impressed..Like it or not, Olmo ticks all the boxes.
Fair enough.
Ferran Torres, a 37 year old Jesus Navas and Alvaro Morata also play for Spain though. They are pretty average too at the moment tbh.
Same 23 that finished the season with Kovacic in place of Gundo and McAtee and Bobb added...
This expectation that every signing needs to be world class already, as if they don't usually improve drastically under Pep, should stop.90% of the players we get linked with we don't sign,, and the majority of them aren't good enough ;)
And Mahrez was? Lol.Don’t see Raphina as a Pep player out of possession.
Kaoru Mitoma
Go get him Tixi
Catalan, ex Barca, played for DZ, speaks Croatian fluently, team mate with Gvardiol and our spaniards, plays for the Spanish national team, versatile, played AMC, FWR, FWL, MC, ML and AML last season, good with the ball, #21 in the national team, 25 yrs old, release clause...Which boxes does he tick? Ive not seen much of him but when I have I haven’t been impressed..
Which creative midfielder? None of them top quality around either and imo this season is the start of Phil’s career in the middle.
FDJ we just need to pay the money or part cash and Laporte’s or Bernie if he wants to goWhich creative midfielder? None of them top quality around either and imo this season is the start of Phil’s career in the middle.
Aside from the occasional good game from Morata those guys don't really do much of anything. In fairness to Olmo I've seen him impose himself in some matches both for club and country. He's been hurt too much by my standard but at 25 if he stays healthy he has the potential to improve especially under a manager like Pep. Is he my first choice, no, but I could see him playing a role here. I have to say he's a bit better than average...JMOFair enough.

Phil can become as good a creative MF as anyone, I agree...Which creative midfielder? None of them top quality around either and imo this season is the start of Phil’s career in the middle.
With Raphina as well, I don't like the idea of paying 60m (which in my opinion, Barca will want) for Barca to then use that cash to come in for Bernardo.
I don't want to give Barca any opportunity to come in for Bernardo. We want as few options for him this summer as possible.
But other than that?Catalan, ex Barca, played for DZ, speaks Croatian fluently, team mate with Gvardiol and our spaniards, plays for the Spanish national team, versatile, played AMC, FWR, FWL, MC, ML and AML last season, good with the ball, #21 in the national team, 25 yrs old, release clause...
