Joshua Kimmich

Versatile, plenty? That wouldn't sound attractive to Kimmich at all.
He played more than any City player last season bar Rodri, Eddie and Erling. As I said, overambitious. Put him on the bench and you might have Cancelo 2.0 soon.
Can play RB, CB, Midfield. Pep would love him for that.

Kimmich as a CB, now you're taking the piss mate!

And btw, we won't see a RB too often next season as you well know:
3-2-2-3

Again, Kimmich in only if Bernie leaves. But if that's the choice I'd prefer Bernie to stay any day of the week.

Same could have been said about Kolarov, Walker (to some extent), Fernandinho etc all did what Pep expected from them without minimum fuss. Can play in that new full back position although it will take time to fully adjust. Has worked with Pep at Bayern.

If Bernardo stays another top mid like Kimmich would be too much to share minutes. Kovacic arrived for Gundo. Adding Kimmich won't work with Phillips supposed to take more minutes too.

Forget about Kimmich as RB, he's a mid now and that's what he wants.

But beside his strengths as a player, he isn't an easy character! He is extremely overambitious and the opposite of Gundo's charming and diplomatic personality for example. He's a hothead and a littler stinker if things go wrong. Jack woulld have fun winding him up all day long ;)

If you think Germans have no humour, Kimmich is the classic example.
You say that, but we put 90m on the table for Declan Rice.

Kimmich would get more than enough playing time to keep him happy.

Bernardo might not move back into CM if he stays anyway. It’s the good thing about having a squad full of versatile players, it’s all about coping with the demands of the season.

Yeah we bid for both Bellingham and Rice so we seemingly still want a big name midfielder this summer? Lets be honest, if Bernardo stays this year he`ll still want out next year anyway so maybe a chance to be ahead of the curve? KDB injured for the start of the season as well.

Yep, and KDB ain’t getting any younger and his injury record isn’t fantastic.

We all thought we were well stocked in defence too but Pep was concerned about injuries so we brought in Akanji and it was a masterstroke.

i do hope the club go for Wirtz this summer while we are getting huge sales in?

Minutes.
If you were Kimmich, would you join as a top mid when Rodri, Phillips, Kovacic, Bernardo and Kev are already there - plus Foden, Alvarez, McAtee and maybe Palmer waiting to play?

Write down the season minutes and you'll see what I mean, that's how it works.
What's that got to do with it? The club said he wasn't a replacement for Gundo and they planned for both players in the squad. I'd rather trust what the club says than a random poster in here.

Kimmich would get plenty of minutes.

Interesting part is this gone from not for sale at all, to what!?

Weird thing to think unless he is up sale and trying to create a weak position.

It’s certainly an interesting one, but somehow doubt we’ll buy him.

Who are some players you do rate then? Kimmich is truly world class in multiple positions in my humble opinion and I'm quite harsh judging footballers.
Kimmich is one of the few players in Europe who could get in our team. A genuine world-class player. I can't believe he would not relish the chance to play for Pep in multiple positions rather than in a rigid structure at Bayern. If he lacks ambition then he would be the wrong choice for us.
