There’s a lot of details we do not know on this, assume there is a transfer fee (£200 million?) and also a loyalty bonus (£150 million?) that Mbappe will miss out on by being sold.

He wants to ride it out get his £150 million and go on a free where he continues to pick up unbelievable money as a free agent.

Will he think, ok, I’ll go and pick up a very significant wage and play.

Or does he sit it out, which should give him his £150 million, plus probably an additional £100 million due to being a free signing.

Or, does he take the counter offer a 10 year deal of £100 million a years till he’s 34.

Do PSG really not play him for a year if he does not move, or does the bluff get called after the transfer window shuts if no deal.

It’s interesting to see how this all plays out.

Bernie might be wanting to stay away from this pantomime and appreciate what he has got.

Not to mention Mbappe most likely have zero interest in joining them, they are barely a CL regular these days. Top players want to play for top clubs, not clubs who think finishing in the top4 is a trophy.

Bro I’d take him for whatever money they’re asking for, no questions about it. Would set Bernardo free including him in the deal to reduce the price by 70/80 mill.

Put a clause for Madrid in three years time (he will still be 27) so he doesn’t think he’s stuck with us for life and will get his dream move.

Push Grealish back to Midfield as a Bernardo replacement.

Mbappe - Haaland - Foden (or Alvarez)
