General transfer rumours

These are definitely the most exciting kind of signing. Like how we bought Alvarez straight from South America. Exciting one for Palace fans.

his wife ihas a health problem since 3 weeks by the way. at first they thougt that it was leukemia.. but the test results are fine...but they did not reveal the results exactly. still dont know the diagnosis
she was in istanbul yesterday, in the opening at the stadium. she looks fine and happy; all the family seems happy (they have 5 kids in total). the kids love istanbul. wanda also does.. so i dont think she will leave him. but yes, i get your point. wanda would go back to argentina again probably.(still dont know where she will spend her recovery period)
they managed to survive their relationship last year but icardi was on loan. now he has a 3 years contract.
a long distance relationship is always a problem. esp when you are icardi and your wife is wanda :)))
so, their priority is wanda's recovery period at least for a while.

PS: There is an icardi craziness in Turkey. i am 43, never seen such a thing. esp kids worship him.

That guy icardi, is really like a child.. he loves his wife so much really. he has a big heart. very interesting...so he will do anything for wanda...

PS 2: about Saudis... we were hearing the rumours of Saudis offer for icardi. yesterday in the opening ceremomy Gala president also announced that Saudis made a EUR 30 mio * 3 year offer for icardi (i dont believe that) but he choose Gala. we are paying him EUR 6 mio *3 year (which i also do not believe, we are paying more). i dont know. icardi is already one of the biggest (maybe the biggest) gala legends already; but if he really chose Gala against Saudis offer... interesting.

They’re spunking decent money not only on transfer fees but also wages if they go ahead, the Spuds did the same when they sold Bale, it’s not a good policy, three proper average players, not a good policy.

Is raya a passer, i didnt think so but im probably wrong

Raya will undoubtedly be the starter. He is better than Ramsdale at all aspects of football and goalkeeping.

Arsenal are a top side now so the margins of improvement will be small. Replacing a below average PL goalkeeper for an above average one is about as large of an improvement they could make right now (after all the other moves they made).

Undoubtedly. He saved less shots than expected last season by a decent margin. He is too spirited and not calm enough. Slightly too chaotic, and worse at everything than Raya.

I think being the arsenal keeper is a completely different role to being the brentford keeper.
Put ederson on that scale

Dont get me wrong i think ramsdale is shite. Like a pickford lite. But id still expect him to be the starter

Yeah you're right. It is a different gig and a top side wouldn't have the same emphasis in certain areas. But no way Arsenal are spending that on a backup keeper that happens to be better than the starter.

But we'll see. I just think its close to 99% Raya gets the starting job.
 
At which point does it become clear that they’re doing things very right?
