There is always details in these deals, we never know but on the face of it, it sounds a decent deal for United. Could also run in line with United looking for investment (be it a sale or minority).

To put it in contrast City receive £65 million and United £90 million (there maybe details we don’t know in regards to split on profits etc).

However, these 10 year deals seem to be very good deals at the start and become less so as time goes by.

£75 million next season for United (this starts in 2025 to 2035), then the higher amount for next 10.

We renew for 2028 and at that point I would expect us to be at the least nearer to United if not higher as our success continues.

It’s not the game changing deal BBC would have you believe and shows Adidas value Real Madrid much higher.

It's the usual hyping of anything rag - predictable and biased,

Cunts have just agreed a £900 million sponsorship agreement with adidas according to bbc sport.

They'll constantly moan about the Glazers taking 1.5bn out of the club in the last 18 years, without acknowledging the big money deals that they consistently get over the line. 900m from this, 500m from that. Official car, watch, tyre, wine, crisps, noodles, airline, telecoms....blah blah blah. You add it all up and it all pays for the 250m spending spree every summer.

All of their heroes like Rooney, Ronaldo, Rio, Giggs, Scholes etc..They made money and feathered their own nests with cash that the Glazers generated through their sponsorship deals. Everybody copied them.

£900m 10yr kit provider for a team that's been treading water for 10yrs.

Nothing to see here. That's not over inflating sponsorship. Of course not.
This picture was taken in New Jersey, last week. I counted 20 adidas shirts in that one image. If you work for adidas, those people are like 100 dollar bills. They may be rubbish on the pitch, but they are still a cash cow off it.

No denying that pal, just would expect the same amount of scrutiny for such a large, long term contract

Obviously £900m in the bank now is a hell of a war chest, but even if it's 'only' £90m per year it's a big help. I do wonder though how much £90m a year will be worth in terms of football finance during the last five years of this deal? My guess is long term it might be a better deal for Adidas than the rags - unless they are in division 2 by then.
