Play restarting in 10 minutes' time. We'll have 52 overs to get the Aussies out (37 overs, plus the final hour). On the other hand, they've got 52 overs to get 146 runs to win.

It's nicely poised certainly - I don't know who's call it is - they're not going to get 52 overs in.

I'd guess that they will assess at 5.30.
England will rightly claim they can bowl them out if they have 2 more down.
Australia might play on if it's 70-80 needed with most wickets up, but know that the series is won if they shake hands.
Also, I guess they'll think about whether a batsman has got to 70 or more and wants a hundred.

The last hour (in theory, 15 overs) begins after 37 overs have been bowled, or at 6pm (whichever is the later). All depending on weather and light, obviously.

Neither spinner seems capable of bowling a maiden and the number of runs needed continues to come down. English hopes seem to rest with Woakes.

good point. Playing past 7 would be surprising today - 37 overs are't going to be bowled by 6, that's for certain.
