Barca would love Alberto Moleiro but they got no resources for him, spoken about since Pedri came from Las Palmas as well (plus I don't think he wants to end up in Pablo Torres situation, albeit from a much lower level). I doubt he will be loaned to Girona considering Las Palmas is in La Liga this season and he might as well for his situation stay at least one more season in his hometown club then. Massive talent though.
edit: Ok he is from Tenerife, close enough.
Looks like he had a low release clause when were linked back in Jan (around 30m)

Now that Gvardiol is close to being signed, now the window gets a bit more interesting. Not linked with anyone else, which thread to look at? Cancelo's move to sort out, and see if anything happens with Perrone or Laporte. Then it is keep an eye out for surprises, which is always fun.

I agree, always fun when moves come from nowhere. Our strategy this summer has made sense, and I'm sure it was very organised. Bellingham not signing was a blow, and the move for Rice was based on us trying to secure him on a similar payment profile. When they turned it down, we rightly walked away. Why pay more for him than Bellingham? You wouldn't if you compared them side by side and looked at what they could offer. I still think we'll look to bring another couple of players in, but as always, we're looking for value. It doesn't make sense, in my opinion, to move for anyone at Brighton unless there's a good price to be agreed - which is doubtful. The majority there have had one good season, and even then, they only finished 1pt ahead of a Villa side that were going down under Gerrard. Mac Allister was good value and showed good form in the World Cup. Mitoma, Caicedo etc are all purely potential at this moment. I'm sure there would be cheaper options available from clubs who have been in the CL at least, or younger players where we are able to capture their value better.

I'd love to know who is on Bloom's cheap list and who is on the big buck's one.

In between programmes last night I caught a bit of Mike interviewing some of their KFA's and Cambell and they were saying how the Brighton keeper going to Arsenal was good. This morning he signs for Chelsea for small change. Classic.

He’s easily a 50-60M player

As with Cancelo, the lack of interest in Laporte probably indicates widely known problems with the player's attitude/personality etc.

There's more to signing a player than their ability to kick a football. Sometimes it's just not worth the hassle.

The 'value' will be based on how much we want them out, and it seems to me that City definitely want both of them gone. As such, I wouldn't think City will expect much more than €30m for each of them.

Lillo back is absolutely huge for the club , happy days indeed.
Personally I’m still not over Chorley away the other night !

Brighton done Caicido over like a right kipper because he signed a new contract and didnt put a reasonable buyout in his contract! Bet his agent got a good payment of Brighton to get him to sign that new deal!

Will cheslea pay 100m for him I doubt it now!

Cancelo I get but Laporte never seems to have caused any problems and usually makes an effort to help the young Spanish speaking kids to settle.

Literally the only thing I've heard about him is him making it known that he wants to play more often.

He's said to be a 'loner', and he didn't do himself any favours when he threw his toys out of the pram with Deschamps. Such things don't make him an attractive option for managers who want a harmonious dressing room.

Add to that that Laporte is relatively slow and awkward, and you've got a player who isn't worth over €30m inmy opinion.
