Financial Fair Play didn't exist when our owners took over, so your point on that doesn't make much sense. Newcastle doesn't have the drawing power of Chelsea. They have a ways to go to able to play in the big boy pool.
 
This only works if he wants to leave or they cannot.

At the moment he wants to be there, so no doubt is happy to wait and I’m sure they will get a solution.

Love to have him back but he wants to be there.

FFP was brought in as a result of our ownership so it makes complete sense. Your point about Newcastle and Chelsea doesn’t make any sense

What don't you understand about my point on Chelsea? Be specific. Newcastle doesn't have the drawing power as they haven't built out their brand enough yet. Think about how Madrid was able to get Bellingham over us and then you will understand my point on drawing power.
 
Probably fix this by selling a player or pulling a leaver but imagine if they have to pay him a years salary and allow him to leave as a free agent

Dembele confirmed to be leaving which means they can start registering players. Kessie leaving too which means they can sign a rightback too.

Hopefully this kicks off the departure of Cancelo

We got Haaland over Madrid so we have that pulling power it's just player preference, maybe he wanted a weaker league and a bit of sun because the prem would of been too hard on his bad knees

Hopefully still don’t see how those two going allows them to register all the outstanding players and buy Cancelo but it’s Barcelona so

That is part of my point…It took us years to build up to the point where we are neck and neck with Madrid in recruitment. Newcastle has a ways to go in their project. They don’t have the drawing power of Chelsea at this point. Money can’t buy you a brand over night.
