That's impressive.

Aggregate stats can be very misleading.

2022/23 Per 90 league stats indicate Doku was slightly better than Mahrez, on par with Grealish, and not quite as good as Foden.

And this is in a league widely regarded has defensively poor compared to the PL, so I would say it is reasonable to put all above Doku last season.

The only way to ensure if he's a not for City, is to cough up the reported £36m transfer fee & see how he fairs.

If we applied this logic, we'd never make a move for players from foreign leagues...

He has missed 41 games with injury in 2 seasons, that's a worry

I wasn’t making a statement about whether we should sign him, just providing statistics to actually put his performances in context (as, again, aggregate stats are often quite misleading).

I have every confidence that Pep could make him a better player.

2 words, and the first one is 'Farmers'.

I didn't know that much about Olise, thought of him as a winger rather than an AM or 10 as well and both sided. Doku seems more like a 20m player than the prices quoted as he appears to need alot of development but we have the right man for that job

I'd be happy with Olise, see what happens with them
How is Doku a 20 mil player when we got 17.3 for Borges and 15 for Charles? Being realistic in today's market he's fetching 40 mil. Whether we decide he's for us is a different matter, but if we do decide to move for him 20 mil won't get us a return phone call...just sayin'...
