Clubs from two countries will finally have teams qualify for a group stage in Europe this season.
The Faroe Islands will have a team appear in at least the group stages of the Conference League this season after Klaksvikar Itrottarfelag, from the town of Klaksvig (population 5001) beat Swedish side Hacken to make the third round of the UCL qualifiers.
Zrinjski Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) playing Breidablik (Iceland) and are currently 6-1 up in the first leg in the third qualifier of the Europa league, the winner will be guaranteed Conference League group stage football at worst.

UEFA countries never to have a team appear in the groups:
Andorra
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Iceland
Malta
Northern Ireland
San Marino
Wales
 
I don't think Gibralter, Montenegro, Kosovo or North Macedonia have had a team in any group stage.

Only in the modern format, Cardiff City got to the semi final of the cup winners cup in 67-68, also, the quarters a couple of times
 
Vaduz from Liechtenstein. in group stage last year.

teams from there actually play in the swiss challenge league, there is no league in liechtenstein

Derry play in the Republic of Ireland league.
They are in European conference league at moment.
Playing 2nd leg in Dublin next week in the qualifying section.

Funnily enough, they wanted to play in Northern Ireland at a large venue . couldn't as it was out of their jurisdiction.

I did think I'd got my league mixed up. Thanks for the confirmation.
