Premier League Games 11/12/13/14 August 2023

Webb should simply release the whole of the VAR audio to the public.

State what they said was wrong and why it was wrong then state what

action has been taken with the VAR team who took those decisions.

Was he not dropped after another incorrect decision late last season.

Watching Sky News, waiting to see the penalty incident but it seems that the Veranne celebration is the only thing to show and the incident just mentioned as a matter of fact.

Got to protect the product.

It will be simply be swept under the carpet by the rag loving media .............You know as shit as we are ( Bradford ) I actually don't mind getting shafted by decisions because we know that thevofficals at our level are simply crap ...............yet the best league in the world with the so called bestvofficals backed up by technology continue to fook it up royally .............No doubt the media will roll out an ex official who still has ties to this lot who will no doubt back up yet another shocking decision ..............still on the other hand United are gonna need all the help going based on that they should have come away with a bad beating against a team that will struggle............they ain't gonna be anywhere near come the end of the season ..............of all the challengers for the top 4 they looked easily the weakest out of the lot ..............yes it's one game in but to me it looks like the same as last season ............. they will go on a run when they have a run of easy games but the big hitters will smash them to bits

An apology doesnt mean a damn thing if the situation is not rectified, the apology only means something if the refs are sanctioned for continually making these bad decisions in order to favour united.

Also why isnt the ref coming out and saying why they have made that decision, what was the criteria in which they chose not to give it and then when they say why they didnt give it they will be shown as incompetent in which case they shouldnt ref again or cheating and the same conclusion.

Refs should not be protected from up on high.

Last 2 games

V Us and now Wolves they’ve had decisions to try and keep them relevant.

Add in all the others last year like the offside against us, the Brighton penalty after the game had finished and god knows how many more.

It is beyond a joke.

As others say they will give a decision when they are 3-0 up or give a decision that shouldn’t be when they are out of sight and then say see it all evens up.

They however get decisions when it is beneficial to them either in points or stopping teams around them at critical moments.

If Brighton had not had so many decisions go against them last year they may have got top 4.

I can’t think of when we’ve got a dodgy call in our favour when a game/result is in the balance. Only seems to go against us, which makes our achievements even more remarkable.

The rags should be careful not to piss Maguire off too much as they try to force him out.
He might just be the one to spill the beans of what actually goes on down the dark corridors of the swamp where the officials are concerned

We all know it was not an error, its bent. The amount of “mistakes” that they benefit from is too much just to be human errors

The ref makes an error.
Var looks at the incident believing this to be the case.
Var says no, the ref was correct.
The whole stadium including the opposing manager know it was a pen.
The opposing manager is sanctioned for getting annoyed.
20 minutes after the game finishes var say they got it wrong.
Will O' Neill get an apology?
We shall see...

I don't think VAR have apologised have they ? Whose in charge Webb ? I know Jon Moss has on behalf of the referee ?

It’s just been discussed comprehensively on Sky with even Dermot Gallagher saying both the ref and VAR got the “penalty” decision wrong. Louis Saha on now thought saying it was 50/50, lying ****.
