It's a powerful tool though. They 'report' or make stuff up to get us (football supporters) angry with each other so we have conflict so they can in turn report on the hate or violence. It's not banter it's deliberate and ultimately, dangerous. It happens in political 'journalism'. They create chaos by creating enemies and at the end these client journalists are teflon - no one remembers they started it in the first place!

Completely agree with this. I’d noticed how the usual wind-up merchant journalists tone-down their digs when they pop up on tv or radio. They clearly understand the audience they are performing to on different platforms. Miguel is the biggest example of this.

I’ve recently come off Twitter and Instagram as the chat was really starting to wind me up. I’d recommend this to everyone!

All these fake journalists like Delaney et al, who regularly trash our achievements / successes etc should be genuinely grateful to the club for providing such a terrific source of income that they would never have achieved otherwise.

...is the opposite of "selling younger players produced by your own academy" buying older players produced by somebody else's academy?

Isn't that what united do? ;)

They are completely irrelevant to my life and my enjoyment of City. I have no idea why people read such made up drivel.

Apart from that is City's PR team and lawyers who should be ripping these idiots a new one everytime they post their click bait agenda driven nonsense.
 
If we sell academy products its bad, if we don't sell them we are hampering their development and career. It's almost like it's set up so that whatever we do is wrong.

At the club in Trafford, if they sell them its allowing them to fulfill their potential and a sound bit of business, and if they don't sell them they allow them to develop under a great manager (10 Hag), they are the next Giggs/Best/Rooney (delete as appropriate), and they are being carefully managed. It's almost like it's set up so that whatever they do is right.

These are the same idiots who can’t understand why City’s revenues have grown bigger than United’s. It’s all done by fiddling the books and Mansour putting money in through the back door apparently, then they cry about how much money we make from the academy.

It's funny how its only worth tweeting about now. United have got rid of 4 players who came from their youth system this summer (3 sold, 1 loan), but no mention of it at all. Who'd a thunk it.

I suppose he wasn't feeling particularly bitter last season, when two of our academy lads dragged them to PL promotion....the massive ****.
