The keeper's having to compensate for a ball being hit directly towards a player in an offside (i.e. illegal) position.

Whether he actually touches it or not shouldn't be the point.

Ah well, it evens itself up over the season. Or so we're told every time we get shafted.

Var is finally being used in the right way. Mainly to help city win.. love it. Cry baby cry -:)

What happened at the end there? No one has a clue in the ground
Back to game, that was a shit half.

Foden the only one who looks on it.
Got to get him in the middle. It’s so obvious. Isn’t it? Or is it just me

Surely if they were against us they'd been canceling them off? They've had a great opportunity there to deny us a goal that's put us into the lead.
On our screens, they must have replayed it about 15 times. It was obvious from the first that Akanji didn't touch the ball. It was as if they might be a touch of they looked harder at it over and over again.

That Rashford goal against City has lead to all of this, it that was not offside then Aki's goal here certanily is not.

Dont think the goalie was getting anywhere near it but i can see why it would/could have been disallowed. Id be calling for it if it was against us

think we need changes for the second half. Alvarez has scored but he isnt working in the team in that position. We need Foden there

He clearly delayed his dive because he thought Akanji was gonna touch it. Whether he would have got it or not, who knows

Fuck sake the half time entertainment is the same din we had outside pre match for 2 hours!
Get Mike McClean back
