I bought what I was told was a piece of a Maine Road turnstile. I asked Gary James about it and whilst the piece is certainly genuine (proper makers mark) it could have come from a turnstile anywhere of that time. I could well be the owner of a Blackpool swimming bath turnstile. I'm choosing to believe its genuine.

Does it have a secret foot pedal to let friends and family through for free, by passing the attendance counter?

If so, it's definitely from Maine Road.
