Nightmare from Rodri, he’ll be bitterly disappointed with his behaviour. Will be a huge loss for the Arsenal game. Not a lot of positives out of the game other than a resolute defence. Less said about Philips the better. He’s dire and a championship level player.

Excellent win under the circumstances. Game ruined really as a spectacle by the sending off.

We battled for everything and still created the best chance of the 2nd half.

Rodri was the idiot not the ref, and Ederson was not far from joining him.

But Ederson again at the end showed what a superb keeper he is...yet again

Montiel and Origi both comitted stone wall yellow cards while on a booking and recieved no punishment.

He also waited until Grealish was playing Aké through on goal to call a non-existent foul.

Fairplay lads. Superb considering the red. Eddies 1st save didn't come until the 95th min (what a great save). We sat deep and soaked it all up, maybe different against a better team, but even though they had all the ball 2nd half they didn't really hurt us at all. Strange game. We lost the plot from around the 25th minute and there seemed to be some bad blood that must have been carried over from the game in February. We played as well in the first third of that game as we have all season, but in the final two thirds we played as badly as we have done all season. Most odd.

Didn’t get to see much of the game just the last 10mins and a brilliant save from ederson who seems to be as good with his hands as he does his feet this year, sounds like we were in total control until that incident I’ll wait to make a judgement but knowing who the ref was I don’t think it will take much to make my mind up, glad we got the win but we don’t half look short now

case in point the yellow he gave origi, he waited to make sure it wasnt someone he had already carded Before getting the yellow. Its bent.
