As the President.

He's now the challenger again.

Hopefully gets his Mango butt torn a new one in jail so we don't have to worry about him coming back.
One of only a few incumbent presidents in US history to fail in a bid for a second term. Carter and Bush Sr the only others in recent history, since Ford was only a caretaker. Sitting presidents are huge favourites.

True and he rinsed the benefit, using presidential assets as props where ever he could (not allowed by campaign laws).

This time the backdrop will be Trump on trial vs old Joe Biden. So much depends on how those trials play out. But it's mostly downside risk for Trump. He could plausibly be in jail in a years time.

…and a great many [whatever the fuck they call 18-21 year olds there days] that can now vote.
…if they register.

Or have the time and, inclination to do it, to have a chance to give themselves a better future or (an even better thought) help others in worse state than them, have a better future.

From what I’ve read on here, it can be an absolute farce if you’re poor, to register to vote, the GOP has gone down many routes to disenfranchise as many as possible of the people more likely to vote democrat.

Shutdown still looming.

Gym Jordan and his committee more concerned about spreading conspiracy theories in their hearing with Merrick Garland than letting him speak.

That was an embarrassing waste of tax dollars.
He didnt really need to be there. No one was asking him questions, just ranting at him for their time then looking all smug

The demographics have been moving against the GOP for years. Its why they only won one election of the last 4. States like Texas are getting more diverse and its not just the current generation that are highly anti Trump. The youth that that grew up voting for Obama for the first time are now in their 30s.

Poor and/ or young. My 18 year old son is a registered voter, but many of his mates are not. The gop has been on a dual mission to make voting both difficult and seem unattractive/ pointless. Most of his mates say, ‘why bother going though the mither of registering, when both parties are as bad as each other anyway’. That is job-done as far as the right-wing is concerned.
