Nice tribute on breakfast bbc to franny.
We do seem to like a bit of that, don't we!The 4-3 away at Newcastle in 68, the last day of the season, when we secured the title
When you consider Liverpool have probably benefited the most from dodgy Var decisions and led an attempt to destroy the premier league and the game in this country, then it makes you wonder about the sanity of the fruitcakes employed in the media.I heard some cnut on the radio this morning questioning if the VAR official recently returning from the UAE may have impacted on their performance, he then went on to say about city being owned by a Sheik. Absolutely no need for the comment, he is just insinuating that something dodgy may be afoot.
You just had to shoe horn that in didn't you! They stuck the boot in.
It was breaking news which is a race against time to beat others to being first. They would have handed it off to a researcher (or whatever they're called) who was probably in their twenties if not on job experience from school who had never heard of him. They then just pick the first one that comes up and looks good and passes it on. It's really nothing to get paranoid about and I doubt the BBC sports section give a flying fuck about Bluemoon (if they're even aware of it), let alone read it.They must be reading the thread.
Iconic, which it was. However, there are numerous clips of Franny scoring for City. One of those clips would have been more appropriate. Even though Franny played for Derby, he will forever be remembered as one of the greatest City players ever.
Possibly only iconic to us fans of a certain age then :)Love this photo, never seen it before. It's brilliant with all the kids around him enjoying the moment. Does anyone know the match?
RIP legend.
Until all options are explored (Cnuts)Christ, how long are they going to bang on about bloody LiVARpool?
Until they get all 3 points awarded perhaps?

Welly would say that, wouldn't he.You just had to shoe horn that in didn't you!
Definitely more spit than polish...Welly would say that, wouldn't he.
I'm most definitely not your dear, otherwise I have no idea what that means.Oh dear…
American owned publication pandering to American owned clubs fans? This is exactly the type of bullshit we have to deal with in respect to the media over here. A xenophobic, conspiracy theory-filled hit piece of absolute trash

Exactly, surprised if any Blues still subscribe to it.American owned publication pandering to American owned clubs fans?
Shocked!! Shocked I tell thee
Absolutely love this photo. I was 10 at the time and every time I see this photo it takes me straight back to the day. I still keep trying to find my face in that crowd. I remember Franny celebrating right in front of us. GREAT DAY GREAT PLAYER.View attachment 94965
Arguably the most iconic photograph in our History
