Red Star Belgrade away.

Also anyone got a clue on the best way to get from the Airport into the city?
Just been in Belgrade, ticking off the Balkan countries.

Flew Wizz to Luton, was bus right door outside takes you into centre in 30 minutes. No bus tickets on sale, everyone on bus seemed to have an app.

Stayed in Belgrade Garni, a street from cobbled Skadarska's old pubs and restaurants. Good craft bars.

Felt safe without football on, and very cheap.

How much Mike, got a link, ta
There’s 7 of us and it was £280 for the two nights, great reviews on booking.com

Hopefully that’ll work mate, if not it’s called Skadarlija Suites. It might say sold out on that link but if you fiddle around with the number of people you should find what you need

Jumped on Lufthansa flights from Manchester outbound via Munich on the Tuesday and returning via Frankfurt on the Friday last night. Only £260 all in and decent timings. I've also managed to book three nights in a huge apartment near Republic Square (five minutes walk south of the happening Skadarska area) for £225. All this and beer averaging around £1.70 for a half litre! What's not to like?

That was Red Star when we were there for Serbia v Wales.

The FAW organised buses to get us to and from.
I was in Belgrade at the time of the Wales game, but not for the match. The police were dressed like Robo cops, talking to some of the Welsh fans, in our hotel, next morning, they all said that it was a very intimidating atmosphere

Gonna miss this one but an interesting option for groundhoppers (@Tbilisi and @Scaring Europe to Death), the EDS will play at Vozdovac's ground. Famous for being on top of a shopping centre.

One of my fave cities in Europe. Have a feeling it might feel a bit different on match day though.
