Without kdb we are shite - I honestly don’t see the point in playing Haarland when we play this slow and no creativity
 
Right now haaland does not deserve his place. Doesnt help no one passing to him but his movement is flat & it’s like playing with 10 men every week.

Yes hope he scores but his overall play & use is very poor right now from pep. Zero game plan around haaland to me
 
I thought Pep had picked the wrong team,and that 45 cemented my thinking.

Firstly......get that fucking liability and utter bell end,Kovacic,off the pitch.He should have had a straight red and then he escaped a second caution ......the stupidity of the player was off the scale,its not as though he's offering fuck all anyway.

As for our play.....we ae an utter shambles in the final 3rd,lacking invention,aggression and the correct ball,we need more from all players but especially Haaland who appears to be operating in 3rd gear again.

Pep needs to sort this,im sure he will.....but we are very lucky to be going in at HT with 11 players on the pitch.

The game is crying out for Doku,Nunes and Stones.

I agree we haven't been great thus far this season but Arsenal is set up well and looking to hit us on the break. You have to be patient. It doesn't help when our midfield of Kovacic, Bernie, and Rico probably have one attacking bone in their bodies between them.
 
Get Doku on the left Foden at RW Alvarez next to Haaland. Sub Kovacic off for probably nunes. We’re overcomplicating it a bit much atm.
 
Missing Grealish in games like this

Need someone who constantly takes the ball and gives us some control in the final 3rd

Honestly, good half. They haven't created anything, we should have scored in that corner and even with Julian's pressing. Rodri is simply too important to not be noticed and against Arsenal this is a good match from our part.

Gvardiol is brilliant by the way. A monster.
 
It's one of those big games where if it didn't involve City we'd be mocking the low quality but that's what it was, poor half and lucky to have 10 men.

Bring Grealish in for Lewis, Doku for Foden

How we’ve let there keeper settle back in is criminal, there was literally a free goal awaiting us
