But for multiple games this season we've been the same.

Slow not only in getting the ball forward but actually on the ball. No zip, nobody demanding it, and when it is played between the lines Alvarez can't control it. Even Phil too.

We're not decisive. Whereas when they get it, and any other team, they're at us.
We’ve won 6/7 games in the league though. Surely that’s a sign we are decisive and doing something right?

It’s only the last 2 games we’ve lost or looked poor.

not sure Nunes can play as a DM , Pep needs to trust Kalvin Philips

Yes, we are basically playing with a passenger at the moment. The problem is who do we bring on to avoid getting overrun in midfield.
I’d say Stones but I do not know how fit he is. His type of composure is really missed. Nonetheless, a change definitely needs to happen.

Doku will end up coming in for sure, the longer it remains levels. He’d beat either full back. Also need people focused on him to free up other players.

Foden into midfield and Jack/Docku onto left.
god no, foden is not a midfielder in that mould. cant tackle, flops about on the floor, constantly appealing for fouls. he will give the ball away trying to flick it, get caught fall over and they'll score whilst he appeals

I said before the game that I'd only settle for a draw if/when we were behind going into the last five minutes. I'm sorely tempted to take it (take it take it!) now.

Feels like we're playing a man down already and we well should be. Absolutely nothing on the left wing. Slow decisions and passes. Haaland seems to be sleepwalking. Dias looks off the pace.
If Kova is on to start the 2nd half the very first even questionable decision he makes the card will be out... he's lucky to still be on the field and anyone saying otherwise is blue specs blind.
