Tyson Fury v Francis Ngannou farce - Result confirmed it!

I have watched it twice now.
Francis took the first 4 rounds one of them 10-8. Fury rounds 5 and 6, Francis 7, round 8 fury, 9 level and fury maybe 10.
96-94 to Francis and that's been more than fair to fury. In a close fight the knockdown is huge.
Ok boss. You’ve given Ngannu the first. Fury landed 11 (44%) to his 6 (26%).

You’ve also said 9th was level where he only landed 2 shots to Fury’s 8.

That swing gives it Fury on your card. I can totally see the argument for Ngannu winning but how they score it I thought Fury just did enough. It certainly wasn’t the robbery people are suggesting but agree it falls into contentious decision of which a split verdict will always be.

The Fury family are turning it into a circus but sadly folk are paying for it

Promotors are just as guilty and more fool those that line their pockets for this shit.

You want fake fights, go watch the wrestling, far more entertaining.

Watched it again this morning, and I think it was a lot closer than I thought last night. I think I must have been that shocked by the two fighters performances and got caught up in the hysteria that I thought it was a lot wider than it actually was.

On second watch I gave it 95-94 Fury, but there could be a case to go same score to NGannou.

What isn't in question though is how unbelievable poor the fight was, and how unbelievably terrible Fury was. Something wasn't right.

The only winners last night were the pairs bank balances.

I never understand how people see fights. I know that many see 'boxing' and expect to see a boxing match. I get that.

But, what some people fail to take into account is if you're not disciplined in style as a total form, then a fight will look shoddy.

Ngannou started out in boxing (check his own story on his life) before switching to MMA where his discipline is boxing, kickboxing, jiu jitsu and grappling. How does anyone expect the fight to be pure in form, I don't know!

The transition was never going to be smooth (it's no different to when City come to play football and someone other team refuse to play; the resulting game isn't great cos they're at different levels), but what Ngannou showed surprised Fury.

If you watch the beginning Fury tries to end the fight quick and nearly caught Francis Ngannou, but he weathered through and gave Fury a fight.

With the deficiencies of discipline in mind and a relatively short training camp after surgery (he had 3 months to train for a pure discipline), I thought he did superb, myself.

But that's just me, taking everything into account.

I have to be honest that I had Fury the winner. It was a dire performance though, the worst I have ever seen from him.

What an absolute shit show.

I will be honest and say i haven't watched or followed boxing since it went "pay per view" with SKY.
It's a shame i as used to love nothing more than getting into work after a big fight and talk about it for hours.
It was free so everybody had watched it.

I've seen the news about Youtubers and MMA getting involved. I shake my head, but if the people are paying for it, who am i to judge?

I somehow ended up watching the fight last night. I've heard of Fury, but not the other guy. Didn't even know a fight was on. I came across it whilst searching for some midget porn.
I would be more embarrassed to admit watching that fight than midget porn!

Anybody defending that, or boxing, needs a hard look at themselves. You are either young or stupid. (or both!)
That isn't boxing in any way shape or form.

Joke fight, even bigger joke result...
I miss the days of the Dark Destroyer v Eubanks. Some amazing fights and emotion then.

I was so wrong about the fight being just a showcase, Francis Ngannou is a Beast

If you can Fight like that in your first-ever Boxing match, Why the fuck have you picked MMA or UFC as your sport until you are 37, What we watched last night was raw frightening power, Take away 10 years and Start in Boxing you would be the best since Mike Tyson,

Tyson Fury was scared believe me, He was not hurting Francis in any way. Only fitness and lack of skill and never boxing 10 or 12 rounds before slowing him down,

Forget the result it meant nothing, But ask Tyson Fury how he feels this morning and the truth will be all over his face

It's all in the interpretation I suppose. The judges don't have the luxury of watching a replay which makes the decision all the more baffling. Now if it was a championship fight the verdict would be less controversial as it's generally accepted the challenger needs to take the crown off the holder convincingly.
To be honest the fact that Fury is champion at at all is a damning indictment of just how poor the division has become.

Don't know what was the worst.

The 30 minute pre bout show or the actual 30 minutes of Boxing.

And yet next fight, they can charge what they want, millions will pay for it, those that are ‘not interested’ will be watching on streams and commenting on forums.

First they’ll announce a delay to 23 December, then there will be an argument about the new date, then the delay will question whether it will happen in Saudi - taking the money off the table - by which time Fury will be doing his finished with boxing routine, and we’ll be in the spring before we know it and Usyk will just move on.

Cynical I know but probably not far off it.

Talking 100 million and more for each fighter

I think it’s just to big not to happen

Frank Warren didn’t sound like he wants December though
Think he wants Fury to be in proper shape and going off last night 8 weeks isn’t long enough

Have a feeling the usyk fight doesn’t happen and fury walks away from boxing .

Usky's face said it all, The fight will not happen this year and may never happen, Tyson Fury was done last night and took some very big bombs from Francis that he will feel for about a month,

I will say the Boxing Promoters and the money men shat the bed after last night's fight, Frank Warren Face was a picture He knew they fuck up and had to change all the plans and Panic in the ring by saying the fight is ON

Fury knew he was never going to lose that fight on points if it went the distance.

The last 20 seconds of the final round showed this. Fury was making out like he was winding up for a a big knockout punch and didn’t even end up throwing a jab because he knew he didn’t need to.

In the real world, following the knockdown and the way the fight went, he would have known he was possibly down on points, he should have been going for a knockout but he knew he didn’t have to because it was fixed.

That last 20 seconds said it all

I see you Tyson Fury, I see you.
