Russian invasion of Ukraine

I don't think anyone is doubting the bravery and resolve of Ukrainians. I just think that unless they get significantly more help, and the west hardens its resolve and imposes more stringent sanctions on Russia this war will grind on and on.

The gains they are making are impressive in one way but the amount of land they have to take back is huge compared to what they have liberated. And the Russians seemingly have an endless supply of men and equipment and entrenched positions.

That’s the thing though.. the Russians do not have an endless supply of men and equipment.

This war will have consequences for decades in Russia.

Even if Russia were to ‘win’ tomorrow what’s left of Ukraine will end up in the EU and NATO and Russia will be completely cut off from the rest of Europe for a generation with its reputation as a military force broken.

The Ukrainians have taken back over 50% of what ruSSia originally occupied, but you are correct in saying the ruSSians are entrenched and obviously this territory will be far more difficult to win back
IMO it comes down to the erosion of ruSSian equipment and the men that operate it
If the Ukrainians can continue with their great success in the destruction of heavy equipment and the experienced crews that operate it, the ruSSians are in trouble
Ukraine also needs a few more succesful big booms where ruSSia thinks it's safe

Russia are a worldwide pariah for the foreseeable future, let alone Europe. Their "mates" are the most questionable regimes that the majority of nations shun or avoid. Putin's legacy has been to ruin Russians futures and opportunities around the world for generations. All because he wanted to play the Czar.

More Russian stuff blowing up:

This is interesting. A layman like myself, would conclude that ruSSia is struggling for men

Russia has withdrawn the grand majority of its military personnel from Belarus, and has not replaced them, Ukrainian State Border Guard

Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko announced on national television on Oct. 31.
He also reassured Ukrainians that the northern border with Belarus was completely secure, with Ukrainian border guards not observing any movements of Russian personnel or materiel.

As far as sanctions are concerned, the only thing that wii make them tougher is secondary sanctions. The key targets of these would include India and UAE, so may not be worth it. The Russian economy is pretty shot: rouble has tanked, interest rates are way up and exchange controls are operating.

Avdiyivka We keep our finger on the pulse. The guys said that the situation had improved a little, literally: "So far, more or less normal."I think everyone understood long ago that the enemy is setting up a new meat grinder.

I think Ukraine is gonna close the jaws on Krasnohorivka,to the North of Avdiivka.

Slava Ukraini.

just imagine how many orcs died there in couple of weeks for fucking nothing. and it looks like there's going to be even more.
The Russians are trying to push out of Krasnohorivka from the South.
Ukrainian Forces are holding the line.
To the North of Krasnohorivka,Ukrainian Forces advance towards it.
The Russians have fucked it.

Slava Ukraini.
