Such an easy game for city & they are certainly saving energy. Boring for us but pep just keeping energy in the bank.

Subs pls pep. Get Bob on

I was quite disappointed he missed Stones's run into open space...would have been through on goal.

Looked like he was pontificating a little too long on the ball without being fully aware.

But I do like his ability to ghost a man or two.
Nunes, Gvardiol, and Kovacic all have that ability, don’t they? They don’t appear rapier quick but they do seem to be deceptive and eat up the ground once they get going.

A frustratingly disappointing half against very limited and at times dirty opposition. The only bright spot was the superb Foden goal with a great assist from Grealish. We have too many players holding onto the ball too long when quicker passing would open them up more. This kind of play has also led to them breaking on us a couple of times, thankfully they've not been good enough to exploit it. Our midfield is a huge drop off with Nunez and Kovacic to what we're used to.

It’s like a training session out there. YB are really poor.

I find Nunes and Kovacic to be far too similar. Both want to run with the ball and neither of them get their head up for a pass. Hence the real lack of creativity in the middle of the pitch. I watch them and can’t help but think that both Grealish and Foden could have done a better job in the middle of the park over the course of a season.
