Just to throw my tuppence worth in on the last few pages.
IMO this whole "tragedy/victim thing" is just a general carry over from the whole "woke" thing in society in general.
At work at present my employer is rolling out this anti bullying / micro aggression bullshit training which basically allows anyone to say they feel upset about the slightest thing. Now anyone and everyone can feel however they want about what another person does or says...It doesnt actually make what was said offensive as a fact.
But then thats simply a case of freedom of speech. We live in a democracy
In the cases that are at the basis of all the angst/ire/hatred can often lie genuine hurt, but then whats wrong with an apology and then moving on? I have said it before..I think.... that my club didnt do enough in the past to take ownership of the blame (based on facts) but also failed to grasp how that failure impacted others.
The whole way that this issue has been dealt with is knee jerk and short sighted. Football is different from the work place, it is tribal and about "the bragging rights", about winding up opposition fans about tryign to give your team an advantage.
Afraid to say that Liverpool as a club and fan base have to accept or reap what they have sown in this respect.
Did not do anything that should bemy club didnt do enough in the past to take ownership of the blame (based on facts)
I always point this out when people deny it's got anything to do with Hillsborough. The song was first sung by united fans at the time of the Suarez/Evra incident. However, that coincided with the release of the Hillsborough Independent Panel report. Had that not been the case, they would have a very weak case.
But it was, so is open to being accused of being about Hillsborough. And while they're a bunch of whingeing, self-entitled twats, it shouldn't be sung.
How many touches does he have per game? Come on Sky, the public demand to know! :)Have they turned on Nunez yet.
I've changed it slightly, but I like it!We should sing completely different words to the same tune…..
“It’s never dry here, It's never dry he-re
It's always raining…..it's never dry here!” ;)
Nunez has scored 22 times in the same period Erling has got 67 for City. He is a disastrous flop but the media seems in denial about it.How many touches does he have per game? Come on Sky, the public demand to know! :)
It's not just the scousers, it's being lead by the media. Full on PR re-brand of the cheeky little scallywags.Funny how the scousers want everyone to remember their tragedies while forgetting their numerous indiscressions
I always point this out when people deny it's got anything to do with Hillsborough.
The Bluemoon thread from the day it was first sung by United fans. Everyone thinks it's about Hillsborough, everyone thinks it's disgraceful.

Chants @ The Swamp Today
Reports were that there were some "unsavory" chants @ The Swamp today in regards to Liverpol and the Hillsboro tragedy. What exactly were they and is it getting much coverage over there???forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk
