It is annoying when they overlook City’s achievements but I’ve come to the conclusion that because we‘ve been playing such fantastic football consistently for so long now, it’s no longer seen as news - they’d just be reporting on the status quo.

When other teams string a half decent run of games together they run a piece on it.

However, the flip side of them eulogising over things other teams do that City have been doing for so long, is to highlight how far behind us those other teams actually are.

However, that said.

If it were the rags or the dippers that were in our position the written press and the broadcasting media would be doing weekly features on their ongoing success.

The media wouldn't get bored of doing that.
