I’m assuming not, surely we’d have never heard the end of it otherwise ?Does Rodri miss Liverpool after that booking?

Good shout re last year and hope you're right. And I think you will be.I said it in the game thread, this was like the 3-3 at Newcastle early on last season, it was the worst defensive display of the season, we had not control and everytime Newcastle attacked they looked like scoring, that type of game never happened again last season and Pep will make sure tonight never happens again this season, Chelsea played out of their skins and we still got a point, so we'll take it and move on.
Need to defend a hell of a lot better in that one. Likely to be another high scoring game thatSloppy game that the neutral will have loved but I feel a bit deflated as we led 3 times and couldn't control the game to secure the 3 points.
Top of the league going into the international break though so overall I'm happy.
I hope we crush the dippers in 2 weeks time.
Christ. I’m sure even Dias will take responsibility for his own performance today.
Same here. Maybe if we were 6-0 up, but other than that a wank decision.Still cannot believe Walker took that free kick.
This is how I see it.I said it in the game thread, this was like the 3-3 at Newcastle early on last season, it was the worst defensive display of the season, we had no control and everytime Newcastle attacked they looked like scoring, that type of game never happened again last season and Pep will make sure tonight never happens again this season, the Chelsea lads played out of their skins and we still got a point, so we'll take it and move on.
In the replay it was clear Phil was wide open for a tap in, a two goal lead at that time would probably have killed the game. Pep saw it and hooked him straight away. Doku will learn from that. re Palmer, a monumental bollock dropped by us, and when Lavia is fit we may see another one. I called it when we bought Philips and sold Lavia in the same window. Time will tell. Personally I'd help Kalvin on to a new club in January and recall Tommy Doyle. When a coach/club tells a young player "we believe in you" they can be transformed overnight. Given the game time Kelvin will get in 2024 we should give those minutes to Rico and Tommy. That Doku chance at 3-2....he really needs to bury those. Very frustrating because he's got the shift and shoot perfected but no accuracy.
With hindsight wondering whether after going up with 4th goal we put Rico (or even Bibb) on in midfield and take off Harlaand and just try and keep ball. After 4th went in I was confident. We had won it. Fuming now.Must’ve been a banging game to watch as a ‘neutral’, not sure there are that many out there tbh. At 3-3 we said we’d take a draw, at 4-3 we should have gone on and secured the win but maybe we got what we deserved in the end. Not seen us so sloppy in our passing, so stretched defensively or Walker have such a bad day. Still top of the league so those mouthy twats in the pub can fuck right off.
Should have let Rodders put his laces through it. Crazy .Same here. Maybe if we were 6-0 up, but other than that a wank decision.
Yep
Bang on - although I think Phillips has had a shitty raw deal. So lost cause? One of our making.
He took one against Bournemouth too. Maybe he’s next in line after Alvarez?Still fuming Walker taking that free kick but didn’t deserve to win ,defence shit and midfield defending poor
Not great at all, didn't get much change out of JamesI didn’t see the game if read the match day thread so how did Doku play today?
StandardAssume it has been mentioned but just remembered it, but how funny how hard they tried to disallow Haaland’s second, lol
What about Bernardo with his placement? Or Foden? Regardless -- Walker wouldn't have been my choice either.Should have let Rodders put his laces through it. Crazy .
