My personal choice? Jordan or Carragher. Collymore has his own self destruction button.Who would it be ?
I'm very touched. As Delaney keeps reminding me.Your explanation in the podcast is EXACTLY what fans have been crying out for. It brilliantly simplifies a complex matter so the average fan can better understand what's happening to us, so it settles the minds of the worried & gives armour & ammunition to our Sky Blue Warriors who're willing to go to war in City's defence.
I've added a couple of points according to my understanding like the monitoring period being shifted back 12 month, which I'm pretty certain is what UEFA did to us in between the submission of our interim accounts in March 2013 & the certified accounts 4 weeks later.
May I just thank you on behalf of Bluemoon, because you've really helped sort the wheat from the chaff. I just hope my interpretation of your expert assessment on the podcast has done it justice.
Cheers dude. You're our Superstar! :-)
Ratboy Neville for me .My personal choice? Jordan or Carragher. Collymore has his own self destruction button.
When we're audited, we give the auditor's full access to the accounts & supply anything they request from the folio.Auditors though are entitled to see everything a company has and if they ask for something and do not get satisfaction that creates a big problem.
Of course, the auditors cannot see off the books transactions (should they exist) but nor can the EPL.
Yup, I can see the headlines nowYou would hope not.
But without Mancini taking to the stand and saying he took payments off the books then it really is irrelevant, no matter what the figures involved are.
Have we even received the PL's evidence yet?
Not sure mate. It’s all very cloak and dagger stuff.
There is no need for City to say another word until the PL release their statement as to the outcome of the case. City refuted the charges and expressed disappointment, as the investigation is confidential you can be assured City will not comment, the PL said they wouldn’t make any further comment in their statement about the investigation being launched. I’m confident that there hasn’t, nor will be any significant leaks. So when a guy who sits behind someone at the Emirates, who is high up in some business in London claiming City are going to get hammered then, it’s just bullshit.Would we have made a statement that we can refute the charges if they hadn't?
Er - no.Have some of you got nothing better to do than keep harping on an on and on about this?
PBEr - no.
Have some of you got nothing better to do than keep harping on an on and on about this?
Wait till an official announcement is made, More important things to discuss ffs
I fully understand what you're saying, but I think you've got me wrong.By "act on the information supplied" I hope you mean assert the validity of the reported information AND detect any suspicious data as well as uncover and report on any irregularities. An independent audit is not some exercise in rubber stamping reported data. If City were perpetrating fraud of this magnitude any high-end accounting firm would have been expected to uncover these irregularities in the course of their audit, let alone over a period of 10 years. So, yes, the PL would be ascertaining that the Auditors were incompetent or "in on it" which adds massively to the ridiculousness of the charges...

Exactly! It wasn’t long ago that golf clubs were claiming that as private members clubs they could excluded females members The high court said otherwise Rules have to be fair and in accordance with Uk law and can be tested legally if you have the cash
Oh so your family are not importantMore important than this! I doubt it.
Generally, finding something new to say about the subject is hard but the Everton punishment is new and while the cases may be different, the level of punishment meted out to Neverton is of interest. And, then, City aren’t playing this weekend so people are talking about this.
The City WSL side are playing the RGS now.
You only have to look at Uefa and the CAS cases, we were found guilty on all counts and our name dragged through the mud, on appeal to CAS the charges were all overturned with the exception of none co-operation. It as clear as day why the none co-operation took place. But how many fans of other clubs feel we were innocent of the charges? very, very few. In most peoples opinions we "got off" due to technicalities and better lawyers. No thought of us actually being innocent of the charges we just "got off"I love reading the "fuck em" and "the PL have nothing" posts but i just can't see us being exonerated and not being done over at all.
Not saying we're guilty of anything ,as like everyone else on here, i just don't know but i still think they'll manage to hang something on us, i don't trust those cunts at all.
What would the rag and dipper fans do if this was to happen, the ESL collapsed partly to fans revulsion. The hypocrisy would be sizemic.Time for Newcastle, City and the other sensible owners to set a new league up.
Let the history red shirts wallow and die in nostalgia.
Sunak's announced an independent football regulator. That's about a big a bombshell the PL's ever had, hence why they're dead set against it.Why do people write this shit. It’s absolutely nothing to do with the government now it’s all in the hands of an independent commission. I don’t believe Sunak has any influence on this whatsoever.
Just ignore the thread mate... ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯Amazing but maybe not how this thread appears after Everton recently
Mate, you deserve it for your excellent work. We all appreciate it, & it's certainly changed & enhanced my understanding of City's situation.I'm very touched. As Delaney keeps reminding me.
