Why is a liberal democracy necessarily better than any other systems of governance, especially for third world countries? I don't see liberal democracy exactly doing wonders for us or the (black) Americans... It's main role in my eyes is the maintenance of capitalism

If you think I should accept that in trying to wipe out a terrorist regime thousands upon thousands of innocent children, women and men will be killed and that I shouldn’t say anything about it then fucking shame on you.

What’s happening is disproportionate, despicable and abhorrent.

Nothing can justify this, nothing. The Israeli government could have locked down the borders, used their so called intelligence people to find and execute the Hamas leadership, including those in Qatar and the U.S but they don’t want to do that as that can’t include taking over more Palestinian land.

Netanyahu’s ‘map’ in September with no Palestine on it showed what this is all about now for Israel.
They will never go back to their own borders but seize more and more land.

The comments about telling the Palestinians to keep moving south shows me that want the whole land and they’ll drive the refugees all the way to Egypt.

Sorry mate but you need to look at what they have revealed today and X-ref with the multi-storey tunnel complex that the IDF claimed their intel showed them what was under the hospital. No resemblance whatsoever - we are in WMD territory and the Israeli's need to stop digging their own hole deeper step back and take a breath

This ridiculous conspiracy theory about moving all the Gaza population to Egypt is just that, for one the Americans have said it’s not happening Egypt have said no, it would destabilise Egypt who are a key American ally and it would destabilise the whole region

You seem to think that a great deal of planning has gone into this, it hasn’t it’s a complete cluster fuck that is making everyone very nervous

When the hostages are released this will be over that seems to be the end game now

The indiscriminate killing of all these innocent children, It can’t continue like this or inevitably someone else will get involved. And that’s the last thing the world needs.

Time for politicians to get off the fucking fence and tell Israel to stop.

I’ve seen two or three who have bought into the conspiracy bullshit that the IDF is responsible for most of the deaths in southern Israel and have been minimising Hamas’s involvement.

Stopping is the easy part it’s preventing it happening again that is the hard part, Hamas has to give up a fight it can’t win, and the same goes for Israel, all that happens is innocents get caught up in the crossfire

Agreed, but Israel as the regions super power needs to hold out the olive branch, to allow the Palestinians to live, to thrive in their own land, only once that happens will the likes of Habas or Hezbollah be eradicated as they’ll be no need for them.

Hezbollah are not dependent on having an enemy in Israel they are the main party for the mainly poor Shia community in Lebanon, politics are quite complicated in Lebanon, if the Palestinians had their own state they wouldn’t need an army or militia

I can only think you're making a distinction between land grabs in the West Bank and land grabs in Gaza. You do know that when Israel last occupied Gaza they allowed settlements, and those settlers now want to come back? And that for some Israelis, their version of "from the river to the sea" includes Gaza as well as the West Bank?

I don’t agree with any of it. But, do you really think of Israel did hold out an olive branch that Hamas would take it? Extremism doesn’t forgive or forget. Sadly, this will continue until one or the other is wiped out.
