Dublin stabbings / violence

Never had Eire down as a hot bed of far right loony's, when did all this begin.
The IRA/INLA wouldn't have tolerated the right being so open over here.
Sinn Fein/IRSP are left wing parties, right wingers tended to keep their views to themselves but now they feel they can be loud.
Extremely embarrassing for the world to see and so disappointing to hear the views of some people concerning my country and home town, not that I could argue they are wrong in their opinions just so angry it has come to this.
A failure of government over all aspects of society being taken out on those who need our empathy most. Cunts.

This doesn't surprise me. I have an Indian friend who moved to Dublin and said it's an expensive, racist shithole now (not her exact words, just the gist). She moved to Cork pretty quickly after finishing her uni.

But equally, the insane prices in Dublin nowadays have no doubt made it unlivable for huge numbers of locals, so it's not a surprise to see people rioting more generally. Like a lot of other countries, a booming economy is worth fuck all if it leaves half the population behind and makes it too expensive to live.

Everywhere is going to fucking dogshit ..glad I'm 50 next and thank fuck I never had kids..

So you are saying that going about knee capping people was a good thing? Would this be the same groups who partly funded themselves by gangster type activities? They sowed terror on the communities they came from ? A very strange take

By the way I dislike the far right as much as anyone, I have feeling that there was a bit more in last nights riot than politics, as MLK said “Riots are the voice of the unheard “

Classic Bluemoon.

We could turn a discussion on custard vs cream into a left vs right debate.

Thoughts are with the victims, hopefully they all have a speedy recovery and the twat that did it never sees the light of day again.
Absolutely this

Going to see a hell of a lot more of this carnage..its not looking good for the homosapien

In no way did my post say it was OK for paramilitaries to hurt anyone. It was to explain one of the reasons the right is on rise here. Surprised anyone could come to the conclusion you did.
Just for the record I abhor the violence of paramilitary organisations.
