I have to agree, when you touch the keepers arms you're very likely going to concede a free kick, even though it's very soft.Akanji had his hand on allisons arm. Always going be given regardless if it was enough to make any difference. Which it wasnt.

Played well against a very good side.
The disallowed goal isnt a foul but its also given every weekend on every ground as a foul .....you cant even touch a keeper without it being a foul so no complaints about it....keepers always have too much protection and have for a while now.
Thought there were a lot of solid performances but we are missiing that bit of a goal threat besides Haaland. Doku played well but positioning (or lack of it at the back post) is something he needs to learn as he will get more and more goals.

Robbed of a goal by another soft foul on the keeper, nobody around me thought it was a foul and most of them were Liverpool fans.
Stinks but then you campaign all week saying the ref is a city fan and you get the decisions on match day.

Easy to be pissed off about the result, but after a tough international break I'd have probably taken a draw before KO.

Not sure you can pin it entirely on that. Before the break, we were all over the place defensively at Chelsea. The thee games against arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool haven't brought a single win. Which is a concern. And Spurs and Villa coming up. But, we're still top. For a few hours, at least.fuck international break

How did we not win that? Double the number of chances they had. Final ball lacking. Disallowed goal was ridiculous.
