The idea being that we, Everton, Chelsea vigorously defend the charges against us and perhaps even initiate counter law suits that would either bankrupt the PL or at least lead to a major loss of confidence in the body by its members……and opening the door for a Saudi backed super league….in the manner of LIV Golf……

The can of worms being opened by the Premier League, especially with the retrospective punishment of teams under FFP rules, will lead to its demise, in my opinion.

This is not being discussed in the media, because it does not fit their agenda, as they just require clicks/support from the Red Tops fans.

FFP I think will not last another 10 years and will certainly be modified dramatically.

Just wait for the Saudi League transfer window to open this summer and their might be the odd article against FFP. They have no FFP restrictions and can do what they want. When a golfer is reportedly being offered 500 million to join LIV, they certainly have the scope to inflict major damage on the Premier League/ Europe by attracting the best players over a sustained period (unlike China presently).

Perhaps the cartel wish to destroy/damage City and Chelsea before abandoning FFP?

The Legal implications of all this, also could have a dire effect upon all parties.

Every time some new news story pops up my mates who support any other clubs start off again with the you can throw all your trophies and memories in the bin. Well I’m not going to whatever the outcome. I have faith in the club to have not done dim things, but I just cannot see how the premiership leadership survives if we get completely vindicated so they have to get something to land. Hence the extraordinary number of things they have thrown at us. Good that we finally have a date, bad that It’s still going to take an age. Doesn’t seem to be stopping great new players coming and pep staying and us winning so I guess let’s just roll with the punches. City ‘til I die.

Ultimately, mates "banter" or football tribalism on social media counts for nothing. Water off a duck's back, or it should be.

Trophies and memories are in the bank, the comments from your mates are jealousy because they don't have them. That's their issue, not yours.

As you say, great players are still joining, Pep is happy and defiant, the owners are sinking hundreds of millions into the club as investment against the continued stadium development. Business as usual.

Second if I am on CCTV seen committing a murder and policeman turns up to witness me trying to cover things up but sees me with the murder weapon in my hand and blood all over me it won’t take long to convict if however there is more doubt less evidence or even no evidence but it’s hard to prove a negative then I would spend ages at court with character witness and counter theories counter evidence like I was somewhere else and here is the proof etc
