As in, if a keeper faces ten penalties, you'd expect him to have conceded 7 or 8 goals. Assuming they're all on target, if he concedes 10 he's not doing well. If he concedes 5 he's doing better than expected.

On that basis rashford would be expected to score a couple of goals .
Although he doesn't because he's shit just like that clown in nets
 
Just been looking at their games to the end of this year. They will be lucky to get any points. We should start a sweepstake on how many they will get.

Or if goalkeeper A let's in 1 goal and his xG is 0 goals and his team wins 5,1 and he gets an assist. But Goalkeeper B let's in 1 goal and his xG is 0 goals and his team loses 1,0
Who is the better ranked keeper?

It would be nice if Eddie did get three assists.

I'd argue Ederson is perfect for City, because the way he plays allows us to score a lot more goals. Alisson is better for Liverpool because they allow a lot more shots on goal, and he's the better shot stopper.

We see the worst of Alisson, because City are probably the only team they really compress Liverpool, so that he's kicking under pressure - so he makes a lot of mistakes against us.

He's mad some awful mistakes in the Champions League, which is why a lot of people appear confused. But then, as I said, bizarrely, he was by some distance the best keeper in the Champions League last season.

I only started replying because someone suggested the stats were nonsense because he was being compared to the Luton keeper. Well, I showed that he's actually comparable only to Alisson in terms of saves in the PL, and last year in the CL he was more important to Milan than Courtois was to Real Madrid.

To me, having seen how long his blooper reel is, that's bizarre.

City had the best keeper in last seasons Champions League.
