Luton Town (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Some of the best football we've played all season for the first 60 minutes. Midfield passed the ball beautifully, quick 2 touch and incisive. A doku or a kdb in the side today for that final ball see's us win that very convincingly imo. Didn't like how we completely stopped playing once we got the lead though, its incredibly risky. need to finish teams off before we turn on keep ball mode.

It was a tricky tie, going into it in the worst form we've been in under pep, easy to drop more points but it was a champions response. Whilst it wasnt plain sailing, we managed it much more convincingly than arsenal or the dippers did.

Have to follow that up with similar performances now until january. Keep that intensity and tempo in our game and we will always be in contention.

All that mattered today was a win and three points which we got....just. We are still miles off last season's form both individually and collectively. Nice to see Pep giving it to the Luton crowd, mimicking crying after our winner. Impossible to say if we've turned a corner as Luton are poor but boy did we need a win.
I though Luton did well, tough, tough side on that ground, every team who get anything on that ground will have earned it.

Luton making Stoke fans look knowledgeable. Ref played up to them. Bernardos foul throw was a joke. Brown should have walked.
On a positive note City battled for a win while struggling for form.

I wonder how long it will be before a PL player actually tries to take PGMOL to court for ALLOWING dangerous tackles in the first 20 minutes. Or for just allowing those sort of tackles to go unpunished even after looking at replays.
That referee only just promoted to the PL this season, obviously a quick learner.

Yes I might have been a little unfair on them, they drew with Liverpool and were very unlucky against Arsenal.

So what where's your eyes when you watch him up you're arsehole post when he scores 15 in 22 good at keeping the ball but hardly anything else but you must love him blind boy
wow, Grealish was good today, and I am far from his fanboy

I thought that was a very decent performance. Pressure on following four Prem games without a win, and then we go a goal down. Not vintage City by any means, but we're four points off the top and only the Dippers to worry about in my opinion.

More years knocked off my life….

How that’s not a red is beyond believe, both feet in the air and studs showing!

Foden lucky not to have his leg snapped, thank fuck it wasn’t worse.
What’s worrying is that the refs now get chance to view it via var and still get it wrong.i can understand why he might not see it live .How after the replays Var didn’t get the ref to look at it.Red all day long
