We look much more measured and in control when they play. However, can we keep Kovacic fit and can we prevent the officials from booking Rodri for the slightest infringement?
 
Great win which was all that mattered today. Desperately need attacking bodies back ASAP though, still not creating lots of clear cut chances

Agree. 1st half players receiving the ball on the half turn going backwards apart from Foden. Second half much more like it. Deserved winners and tucked into the leading pack again with just under 2/3 of the race to go..

Absolutely right... some promoted teams bring a new perspective to the League and deserve something. This lot are throwback cloggers and the ssoner they fuck off back down the leagues the better.

The team is bad enough, their crowd is even worse...

But we play against at least 12 every single week. Sometimes we play against 14 or 15! They just don’t like us the horrible little PIGMOL lot!




I think that should be PGMOL shouldn’t it? But I don’t care because they are PIG MOL! :-)

To not even book him was farcical
 
Got to give credit to Luton, not a bad team for bottom 3 and difficult to play against. Cant see them staying up but at least they have a go. Don‘t think there much more they could have done against us today (without some luck). Barkley playing better for them than he did for Chelsea, had me worried every time he got the ball deep in our half.

Very definition of "gritty win". Not pleasant at times. How that chunt Brown avoided a booking for hacking his way around the pitch I will never know.
Just as well we got 2 in 2 minutes as we didn't look like scoring after the 2nd.
Ake great at the back. Good from Rodri in the 2nd, drove the team on.
Jack took his usual stick on the MDT but kept the ball and scored.
Gvardiol needs to shut down players, letting Townsend turn and get that cross in on the stroke of HT was criminal.
Glad to get back to winning ways, been a good weekend so far....City win, Utd and the Arse lose and the mighty Aberdeen win
