...maybe the majority of the comments in their comment section are from supporters of a club that is no Arsenal; a club whose supporters don't really care about us but who fill every comment section with their bile and hatred, possibly a team who are geographically situated in the NorthWest of England but who claim to be from an independent state. Personally, I can't think who they may be ;)
It's not their fault you can't remember.

Micah was refreshing at first. Now become a parody of himself. Utter
I actually find Micah to be fairly refreshing. He’s clearly a nice guy and has a bubbly personality - tv is shifting away from the dour and drab pundits. Like mentioned it’s all about clips and social media interactions now and Richards brings that to the table.

I wish he wasn’t licking Carraghers arsehole as much as he does though.
He’s rude and obnoxious in life outside media - it’s all a game.

Would Delooney X that if the Rags or Scousers were in the last 16 of the CL?

Same as ever with Delaney, many words without an actual point to the article, with a standard jibe at a club for being a sports washing project.

Take this quote "That’s incredible to think that Real Sociedad had more domestic titles than PSG when the Champions League was founded"....Considering Sociedad was founded in 1909 and PSG in 1970 it's only incredible to think if you're an idiot.

And I don't know what point he's trying to make with this quote "and that, two decades ago, Lazio had the most expensive squad in the world." is the point that being a super wealthy club, doesn't guarantee success long term, if so isn't that a good thing?

He just seems to be moaning because there are not enough 'big' clubs in the first knockout round this year, meaning he's not excited by the ties and doesn't expect good games. He's forgetting this is why the CL was created, a guarantee that the established clubs get an easy pass and more $$$ for reaching the later rounds. Removal of jeopardy, it's why the group stages are seeded....where has he been the last 30 years?

It's also not always the case. Last season's round of 16 saw Liverpool v Real, Dortmund v Chelsea, PSG v Bayern.

He's the type of person whose interest in football is defined by the club he chose to support's success/relevance. Like most of the football writing media, they appear to love a particular club but hate the sport.

More examples of the media telling anyone who will listen, so Dippers/Rags/Arsenal then, how no one cares about City being at the CWC (I'm sure that wasn't the way it was discussed when two of the aforementioned were in it), completely ignoring the fact that it takes a load of graft to actually get there. I didn't particularly care when other teams reached the final, I definitely hoped they'd lose, but at the same time I didn't feel the need to shout it from the rooftops and diminish the effort involved to be there. Cunts.

Great post, calling out the limitations of a so called jounalist stealing a living.
