Yan Couto has been called up to the Brazil NT. They've had lots of injuries and circumstances fell Couto's way. Congrats - a stint with the NT goes a long way toward getting a work permit ... if I understand the rules correctly.
He does.I'm reasonably certain he's got a Portuguese passport, not sure why I think that but I'm relatively certain that's the case
Not a big deal for one of our players to be an internationalI've seen msgs of congratz from all over for Yan - Girona FC, SC Braga, tons of players in Europe and Brazil, pundits ... but haven't seen City acknowledge his nat'l team call up and debut in any way, shape or form. Have I just overlooked it? Anybody noticed any response from City?

It used to depend on what that kerb crawler Pleat thought, and he thinks there’s only one club in “Manchester” (the one that used to be quite good a very long time ago). He will be fine getting a work permit with another club, ask Douglas LuizYou have to play in a certain % of the games over a set time period IIRC. Where the country is in the FIFA rankings has an impact aswell but obviously no issues with Brazil.
This kid is gonna be something special. Was the best player on the pitch for them today.
Set up the first 2 goals and won the penalty that made it 3-0.
On loan. City may have to make a decision at the end of this season if he continues this level of performances. Is he still on loan or did we get rid?
