Looks like someone dug up the blueprints from the north stand at maine road.
Wonder will they add a dodgy scoreboard that never works
 
One of my mates came back from that safety check Alf the new Anfield Road stand the other night.. he said the inside still looks unfinished, plenty of building materials laying around and still quite a bit of work to be done. I suppose it’s been built the same way as all the other stands in that it’s been done based on not losing a single penny in revenue.. instead of each stand being totally closed until it was completed they instead kept them open and built around them.. releasing more and more seats as they went along.. bit of a cheapskate way..
Went past the new Everton Stadium again today.. it’s looking really impressive.. not as spectacular as Spurs Stadium but it has arguably the best setting in the country regarding the Waterfront.. will be one of the fans top away grounds when it’s finished.. not too far from City centre either, just need the transport sorting a bit better to and from it.
 
Not a new stadium and not a good design but a great way to utilize space surprise its not more common to either build a stadium on top of something or under neither where indoor stadiums are permitted or needed pitches are a waste of space in a sense

This is not good news for them. They could be in administration soon if the PL don't approve the new owners.

If we go into administration will they owe us a point?
In all honesty if they continue to fine / deduct points or allow other teams to possibly sue, there is a high risk of administration

The club is not going to move early or mid season as it would make no sense. So the 25-26 season would seem the earliest feasible date - issues such as sponsorship etc as who would put their name to Goodison knowing BMD was round the corner. An even bigger issue is that currently at this moment in time we have no idea who is running the ship. Half our board have left, we have possible new owners waiting, with the future of the club in doubt until the appeal it makes sense to set an achievable target

Aston Villa’s president of business operations, Chris Heck, believes it would be a “bad idea” to pursue plans to expand Villa Park.

The club’s long-term plan had been to build a 50,000-seater stadium, increasing the capacity by eight thousand in time for Villa Park to be a host ground for the Euro 2028 European Championship.

The proposal was to knock down the North Stand completely over two seasons, with renovations completed the season before Euro 2028, per UEFA guidelines.

However, as The Athletic has investigated, there were several other factors at play in rebuilding Villa Park, with concerns over transport links requiring the West Midlands Combined Authority — made up of 18 local councils — having to generate around £30million ($38.2m) to develop nearby railway station, Witton. UEFA stated it would expect 80 per cent of supporters to travel to Euro 2028 games at Villa Park on public transport. Without redeveloping Witton, this was not anticipated to be feasible.

“I became more concerned we were adding too many seats too fast,” said Heck. “So I do believe it’s important we took a step back and re-evaluate what’s best. I mention this with transportation and the parking. So adding 10,000 seats doesn’t sound practical to me.”

“I think it would be a bad idea to tear down one of our stands for two years playing like we are,” said Heck, before outlining new plans. “Going forward, everything should be about all fans.

“We are going to start renovating the warehouse area which is a massive space that we feel can be a hospitality zone and entrainment zone for three thousand fans. We are going to be doing lots of renovation and building at Bodymoor Heath to build our academy and women’s programme and to build more for our first team.
