Going to be an impressive stadium though.

You remember Eastlands/Wastelands when we 1st moved in compared to now? Although with this being in Liverpool, it's going to take an awful lot longer to make any noticeable change.

The stadium will be at the end of the Peel Liverpool Waters regeneration that is supposedly transforming the docks from the ground up to the Pier Head with flats, offices and a large park. So it may look very different in a few years depending on how quick the regeneration gets going.

It might lead to new development by the stadium. The San Francisco Giants built a waterfront ballpark about 20 years ago and it led to new housing and other stuff going up by the ballpark.

Hopefully mate. Right now it looks like shit with all those (are they petrol tanks)?

Im not sure what you are referring to. There is a lot of containers around the site. Or do you mean the Utilities plant next door with all the white roofing?

I was meaning all the white, round objects mate. Looks like an oil refinery.
