River Plate fans are mad at him, they took this situation as a betrayal and don’t want him near the club. They have been waiting for him for ages, he has always been called the next big thing. City should take him inmediately, even if they decide to loan hin to another club.

To be fair, it is expected when a player says that he won't sign an extension with a team. Specially someone so young that was in the club since a little kid, and owns a great deal to that club.

The kid was far from smart with his comments, to say the least.
 
Looks like an exciting signing if it happens. Obviously, im internet trained on him, but he looks quick and sleek. Good passing, dribbling and shooting. Hope he fulfills his potential.

Yes he could’ve handled it a lot better.
Some saying he might be loaned to River until Dec 2025, but I can’t see this happening going by a lot of the comments on there

Just for the record, that forum doesn't represent the average River Plate fan, though. In that cestpool, every player gets criticised to extreme levels.

Just as an example, Julian Alvarez was thought of as a flash in the pan guy that was gonna disappear after his 5 minutes of fame. So, yeah, don't take that forum as an example of how most of River Plate fans feel. If Echeverri gets loaned untill 2025, fans in the stadium will support him.

There isn't much tape on him playing professional ball yet. Like I said above, he just played his first game as a starter just 2 days ago. Against kids his age there's no comparisson, the gap is evident.

In terms of style, he's your typical Argentine #10, dribbling, passing, vision, set pieces, shooting. He doesn't have the ball on a string like Messi, though. His dribbling style is more like a Neymar or Aimar.

Yeah, they might pull that trigger early if it suits both, with this being confirmed asap. They'll know how the crowd will react before Jan is over.

I mean that for us it’s very important the sense of belonging of our young players.
He has always said that he wanted to play at River Plate an win titles and then he shows his value by his sayings at his first match at the Starter XI
We all know his conditions and River made a bet for him an his family, and after all this time he shows the club that he only matter about the money, not the glory with the club that has seen him grow
