Everton (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

He blocked a shot on goal with an outstretched arm above his body. Doesn't matter how natural that is or how close to the ball he was, whether he meant it etc. It is a stonewall penalty. No different to a mistimed tackle that brings a player down in the box, it illicitly stops a chance on goal, penalty.
Disagree completely. No intent. Just as it hits an arm it shouldn't automatically be a penalty imo. As every pro has just said on the TV. Should never be given for anyone. Even Pep is frustrated with the current law.

Same as the pen against Sterling for spuds and Micah at anfield should never have been given. Embarrassment for the game these type of decisions….

After the rag handball FA cup final ‘penalty’ I will take anything and everything

Watched the scum v Villa every offside was flagged immediatel,at what time in the last 24 hours did Pigmol alter the rules .the lines man tonight was slow, yards behind the play ,but no one in the media will mention the reason John Stones is injured again The FA and FL can fine players over nothing yet the official was crap MCFC should sue him for his incompetence.
