If its that JSSS main event guy then i had him as a friend on facebook. Hes a fraud. Just finds pics of new kits on whatever then takes credit for saying that hes leaked them. Got the treble winning kits wrong

Seen all 3 kits and although i only briefly saw the home so couldnt comment on the detail, the change kits are the 99 play off kit (no secret) and all maroon which looks plain but very smart.

The guy was convinced last seasons shirt was going to be lazor blue and was selling the shirts. Told him it had a maroon round collar with badge in the middle. He was having none of it

Generally the leaked kits are ones on hangers or some blurry pic that some brave security guard took a sneaky pic.
Shirts on mannequins dont even really exist.

Best last season was the guy on here who said the lightening kit was getting binned off because people thought it was shit. Even mentioned opinion on here. This was like a month before release was due!
Not only next seasons kit is already sorted, the seasons after is too. The club/puma work 2 seasons in advance.
They have 2 girls at puma on the city contract and a couple of guys at city but the ultimate decision is pumas. Football shirt deals are a loss leader for puma so they need to make every penny back they can.

The last thing puma/city would ever do is get any feed back from market research, or ask city fans opinion on design. It would literally end up the same every year

I will never buy that football shirt deals are a loss, not for puma not with our club/deal. I will always contest this point. In terms of purely shirt sales, sure, they might not reclaim back the 60m a year or whatever it is they pay us. But then, they aren't paying us 60m a year (just) to sell shirts.

Yeah i think youre right, they are buying into the whole package and its maybe shirt sales alone that they lose money on.
Puma (and whatever sportsbrand) want to be associated with winners and the exposure that brings so on the whole they will make plenty. Dont think they are worries lets put it that way.

My point was that as puma outlay so much initial money, they want total responsibility on design so its on their heads be it.
For all fans moaning about designs, truth is most fans , particularly kids, will buy whatever the kit turns out to be.
Every year my kids say “this seasons kits are the best”

I reject both the round neck and the V- neck and demand we get back to having a collar on all shirts.
If not, I will refuse to spend 30 Levs buyingnone off a stall in Sunny Beach in protest.
(The last 2 have blue premier leaguenbadges on The sleeves FFS)
