games like this we wuold need some proper creativity from wings, Mahrez could provide it, Cancelo too, Doku as well this season, but Grealish, Gvardiol, Walker simply cannot. opponents defending deep, not much space to exploit, and simply reshuffle the ball all the time does get us nowhere. we cannot create chances for Foden and Alvafez at all.

most we opt to shoot from distance, but Walker probably would only score 1 of 100 from those.

feel a bit sorry for Gvardiol, he is being asked a very attack minded full back who spends lot of time in the attacking third giving width, thats really not something he is familiar with.

we could have signed a number of players to play that role much better if that was the plan for Pep. its pretty much a custom made role for Cancelo lol.

Walker needs to be told to stop shooting as he is basically shit at shooting

Pep won't do it but I'd get Nunes or Rico on for Kovacic. We can't risk him taking another yellow.

Maybe even try Nunes for Walker. We need some pace on at least one of the wings. It's games like this where we miss Doku.

Sheff u are packing the middle. They are very organized under Wilder, I like we take some long shots to keep things mixed up.

Just when you think you encountered an ultra defensive formation there is the ultra ultra one. This is like WHU from Arsenal game on steroids. Bernardo and Grealish particularly haven't done enough individually.

we have had such a rich diet, it's little wonder expectations are so high, like i am expecting us to be better second half, if we dont then tough shit....:)
