Why the fuck would Girona sell to Barca unless it's for a hiked price? I'd hope that Girona would let Garcia stew if he is willing to force a move.

Fair enough if it's a financial jackpot, but if it's Barca begging I'd tell them to fuck off.

(PS - same for any players trying to force moves to us. Either we pay up or move on.)
The rescissión clause of the majority of players is pretty low. Aleix Garcia is 20m euros, for example.

The media and rival fans saying Girona isn’t quite the fairytale that some people think as they are part of the corrupt oil funded City group.
Yet they have one of the smallest budgets in La Liga. Apart from the connections to us, what have they done wrong?
You’ve answered your own question…….

Girona is playing a cup match at the top of the hour. Couto starts, Savio on bench ... the player to watch is Jhon Solis who starts at DM.
HT, Girona leads 0-1 against the run of play. Solis gets the assist with a front-post header on a corner, Blind scores.
Solis has been solid. Girona looks a bit burnt out. Maybe Savio can come on for the last 30m and spice things up.

Good article on the BBC today on Girona. Might be worth looking at their director of football to replace Txiki if he goes with Pep.

Playing Almería… bottom club by some distance… and not playing well 0-0 70mins only 2 shots against Almería’s 13…

I still think the best they can hope for is top 4.

They won't win the league. Real Madrid will have it done and dusted in April and finish the season around 8 clear I reckon.

Madrid have only conceded 11 all season and that is ultimately why they will be likely champions.

Girona 3 - 1 Rayo V. - cup match - Solis and Savio started. Solis' gaff lead to Rayo's goal - good learning experience tho - DM's gotta be exact with their passes building out from the back. Savio was very very meh, but hit the bar in the closing minutes. Couto subbed on and did fine.

The big take-away for me was a Girona academy product making his debut with the big team named Antal Yaakobishvili, 6'4" 19 yo Hungarian. Remember the name, came on after HT and played center-half next to Blind - pretty pretty decent debut. pic

His name sounds more Georgian than Hungarian.
