FA Cup 4th Round Draw | Tottenham (A) | Fri 26th Jan, 20:00

London clubs at home are:-

Chelsea v Aston Villa
Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City
Fulham v Newcastle United

Then there is the possibility of Palace and West Ham also being at home:-

Crystal Palace or Everton v Luton Town or Bolton Wanderers
West Ham United or Bristol City v Nottingham Forest or Blackpool

Fulham, Palace, Newcastle and Villa all play on the Tuesday (30) as do Everton and Luton so none of those games will be played on the Sunday. Chelsea, us and Spurs play on the 31st (as do Liverpool). Question is who will be on TV and how can they be accommodated. If only all games were at 3.00pm on Saturday!

Dippers and scum shouldn't be on TV, Ipswich v Maidstone should be as well as a game like Blackburn v Wrexham. Surely people are tired of watching PL teams week in week out.
The majority are.

However BBC and ITV find any justification to show Rags and dippers.

Someone on Bluevibe saying Friday night and £60 a ticket doing the rounds,I'm saying it's all shit.
Sounds expensive, Burnley and Brighton both £25 there, well under their Cat C, and for all areas. I expect it to be £30-£40.

Be utterly fucking ridiculous if it is the Friday night slot, I won’t be bothering heading down if it is, fuck that on a Friday, I’ll watch in the pub.

No more ridiculous than when we played Arsenal on Friday night at the same stage of last season's FA Cup. The needs of the paying spectators are low on the list of priorities as we all should know by now.

Is the top since constant? If so there is an odd number which jumps out.
You're right. I had the 11/12 Liverpool v Chelsea final only as one Top 6 team, so one more on Liverpool. But yes, it's the usual suspects.

The Spurs numbers are staggering. Drawn 15 times against lower league/non-league opposition in 15 years/46 ties, next closest are Man U (12 times, but have played 10 more games). And only 5 ties versus top 6, with Liverpool on 9 with 6 fewer ties. Having said that, Spurs have lost to every Top 6 team they've played in the Cup in this time (fingers crossed that continues).

No. It was fine, I mean who gives a feck about Arse supporters???? :-)

( nb I jest, well not about them, just the principle that it is all about the TV companies who really don't give a flying feck about travelling supporters)...

The TV companies buy rights to the slots determined by the FA or the clubs themselves in the PL. Then the clubs complain when they get picked.

Friday night is great for a lot of home fans and a free weekend, not so for away fans.
