FA Cup 4th Round Draw | Tottenham (A) | Fri 26th Jan, 20:00

Chelsea v Villa also on Friday night. Means potentially 15,000 fans making there way back up north on motorways that will inevitably have lanes closed for roadworks. Bin

Just means that tickets will go on open sale. The whole thing is an expensive pain in the arse. Would have been a great away day had it been Saturday or Sunday at a sensible time. No trains and guaranteed chaos on the roads means I’m out sadly.

Yep they can do one with that time slot. Will be the second domestic game of the season missed along with Brentford. Had enough of them taking the piss out of match going fans.

Was hoping to take my lad to this, but going to have to bin it now with the day/ko time. Annoying.

OK, take your point.
But if you look at the ties that can feature prem teams that can be played on Sunday (due to prem matches on Tuesday), you have:

Bournemouth v Swansea City
West Brom v Brentford or Wolves
West Ham or Bristol City v Nottingham Forest or Blackpool
Liverpool v Norwich City or Bristol Rovers
Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City
Newport County or Eastleigh v Manchester United

Who do you think they'll pick for Sunday?
Not us

If we did boycott this, the tickets would just go to the Spud wankers and it would be the 1981 FA Cup replay all over again. i.e. Like a scene from 'Warriors' getting away from the stadium!

More likely a scene from this season’s Charity Shield.

I did Spurs away on a weekday evening about 10 years ago & stayed at the Travelodge at Edmonton.
It was quite reasonably priced and only a couple of stops on the Overground north from WHL station.
May be an option for anyone stopping down there on the Friday night who doesn't want to pay London city centre hotel prices.

I’d probably put myself in that bracket these days, was well up for this but Friday night is a shitter for me unfortunately.
I saw the massive potential allocation as a chance to get down to an away as I usually don't manage to get tickets, unfortunately can't now. Effort isn't an issue as I wouldn't mind trekking anywhere but the kick off time is unworkable for me.

Friday night kick if so the fa fuck the fans over as per usual and our club won't say out about fans can't get transport back!

Quite a few reasonably priced Premier Inns around. Edmonton Premier Inn is £63.50 for that night. There’s loads of others showing at decent prices too.

I actually would’ve fancied this if I wasn’t at a gig in town the same night. Did the West Ham Friday night FA Cup game 7 years ago and with it being the first week of January, the digs were well cheap.
