When the rags want to change it they'll be changes made! No champs league for the scum this season they'll be losing out on 50+m

It already has
A few years ago when Rags had a lot of 1st teamer contract renewals coming up + they were about to spend heavy again, the PL quietly dropped some aspects of the FFP stuff inc wage increases to enable them to carry on. Stank at the time yet no one questioned it in the media

FFP is needed though or some level of control...remember when we were looking up...''No chance of winning when Chelsk and Liverpool b4 'em smashed out trf records and salaries.'' Made football a non-event re trophies. Control is definitely needed as we will end up like a 1970's league where the richest club dominated all the time....

It was ever thus! The Red Top clubs flourished because they had the richest backers. Blackburn only came on the scene because of a very rich backer. Clubs like Barca, Real, Juve and Bayern will always be backed to the hilt.

FFP or any control is a huge restriction of trade. Theonly way your idea might work if you have a closed shop and franchise system like the NFL.
 
Further to previous comments regarding the absurdly unjustified lauding of Newcastle fans, a journalist called Tamara writing in the daily mail about fan complaints at late kick off times in London on 4th round weekend,refers to City supporters and Villa fans but feels the need to label Newcastle fans the “Toon Army”.

Army in this context implies a very large number of fans. We’ll have double the number of fans at Spurs that they will at Fulham. Lack of research Tamara or are you just happy to jump on the latest annoying bandwagon ?

And the irony here is, he couldn’t be any more irrelevant.. He’s a bit like a rich man’s Joey Barton, thinking he’s an intellect and superior to the rest of us, whereas reality tells a different story..
He regularly spouts shit in completely the wrong context or worse, uses words that either don’t exist or he’s bastardised through a lack of knowledge of the English language, to cobble together a sentence he thinks will make him appear clever …!

In short … He’s a ****…!!!!

I've had the misfortune to hear Jordan on the radio when in other people's cars on a couple of occasions.

As you say, he uses language to create the illusion he both knows what he's talking about and to demand the rest of us in 'The Great Unwashed' pay due attention to him.

Naught but a grandiloquent sesquipedalianist..

..or as my old Aunty Elsie used to say back in Hulme, 'nowt but a gobsh*te'..
 
It’s just past the halfway mark of the season, if City beat Newcastle, City will be 2 points behind Liverpool, but according to the media, Liverpool are flying, and Liverpool have got Superman - Supersubs,

That’s the norm these days, they just write what they want with zero comebacks despite most of the stuff written being complete and utter bollocks …!
